Augusta, Georgia
Newly renovated (photos coming soon). This house now has 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 16. Privacy and quiet with woods surrounding this ranch-style house on Rae's Creek is less than 1 mile from the course (less as the crows fly). Hardwood floors and granite throughout. A wet bar is just off the kitchen, great for entertaining. The large kitchen features a breakfast nook that seats 4 as well as a large island for food prep or presentation. The back patio overlooks wooded area and the property is secluded. You feel away from it all, but you are so close to all the great things Washington Rd has to offer. Minutes from I-20, the house is conveniently located. Dining room seats up to 12.
Coffee machine is provided as well as a Keurig and a Nespresso for cappuccino and lattes.
Everything you need to relax after a long day at the Masters.
Our group of 5 friends and family selected this property for it’s close proximity to the Masters tournament and we were not disappointed! This was a bucket list trip for us and our stay here enhanced our experience. We cooked in and grilled a couple of nights and the house was well appointed. We liked the ability play music throughout the house from the speakers and the comfortable couches and ability to watch the tournament highlights and coverage on You Tube. Joe, the property owner, was very responsive and accommodating. He, and his family, live here and rent out for the Masters tournament. So it has a homey but not fancy feel to it. If that’s what you’re looking for, it’s perfect!
It was great for what we required, walking distance from the Masters
Outstanding! Just a short walk to the South Gate. The entire house has a Masters ambiance and decor (including coffee cups and welcome basket with Masters Magazine) and was very comfortable and clean.
We would HIGHLY recommend staying here!! You would be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay, a more beautiful home, or more gracious hosts! My dad was one of the lucky lottery ticket winners for The Masters in 2020, just before COVID, so needless to say, we had been waiting a long time for the opportunity to go on our first father-daughter trip to The Masters. Sadly, the round was rained out, but fortunately for us, we had the perfect home to stay in and still spend time together. The home is lovely, everything was very clean, and, when we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome basket of golf-themed goodies. Mr. Sterett was very kind and welcoming, and even gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Regardless of your reason for visiting Augusta, my dad and I would definitely recommend this home!
Excellent
We had a fantastic stay at this great property . Everything from the second we booked it until we checked out was easy and the owner was extremely accommodating . The location is perfect - lovely quiet street in a great neighborhood and the house was great .
This was a fantastic property. Truly, it felt much larger than it appears in pictures. The bedrooms were comfortable for our group. The living room was inviting for entertaining after a rainy day at the Masters. Joe made sure that everything that was needed was in place for a comfortable stay. The walk is about a mile from the gate of Augusta National - relaxing and pleasant.
Our stay in Augusta was great! The house was perfect for our family. The owner was the best !! When we come back to Augusta this will be our place to stay. Thanks Joe!!
Great house with very helpful owners! They made sure we had everything we needed and even helped out with suggestions for things in the area.
