Amarillo, Texas
Charming 1-story historic Tudor style 1920's home near famous 6th Street (Rt 66). Short drive to medical district, downtown, the Civic Center, and the Cadillac Ranch. Tons of local restaurants for dining and a scenic 30 minute drive to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. 2 minute walk to Sam Houston park and playground.
My husband and I rented this property to have a holiday visit with his adult kids and grands. It was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Scott’s directions were on point and check in went smoothly. Hoping we can stay again next year.! I highly recommend
We loved everything about this house! The location was great, the neighborhood was really nice and quiet. The house itself was clean and orderly and user friendly! The owners were also amazing to work with also!
We’ll equipped cute clean
Just a wonderful place
Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
Yellow rose house was perfect for our needs! Close enough to my nephews apartment it’s was super quick to get to pick him up! A nice surprise to find on our next to last day was how close we were to Route 66.
Arrived and code to door was email while we were driving up to Amarillo. Very clean, cute and in a great location. Our next trip to Amarillo I will look for this house first!
This place was clean, well furnished and very affordable. They even threw in some snacks and coffee, which was appreciated. If I’m ever in Amarillo again, I’ll be staying here!
We had a nice stay. The kids loved the back yard.
It was a very comfortable place to spend time with family. The property has all of the basic kitchen essentials and plenty of linens for 6. The location was also very convenient. It is within walking distance of a beautiful park and a 5 minute drive to multiple points of interests and cafes. It was also very quiet, which you don’t often get in hotels. I am so glad we stayed here.
Clean and comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath with charming character.
We were in town for a family wedding. Because we had a couple, a teenager and a Nana,(me). It was so much better than all being crammed into a hotel room!!! We each had a space and were able to enjoy our time together!!! It was a wonderful experience in a house with so much character!!!
It was a great way for family to join together & spend quality time while traveling out of town. We’ve never had a negative experience with VRBO.
Nice home that served as a one night layover during our long road trip for Thanksgiving. Would definitely stay again.
It was excellent came down for ranch rodeo finals close to everything loved it so much better than a motel
This home is like taking a step back into time. It just feels like coming home. Creaky hardwood floors, the gas stove. We 3 friends stayed from Thursday thru Monday and were just as comfortable as could be. Comfy beds, plenty of room and everything we needed to cook. This will definitely stay on my list of places to stay in Amarillo. We met the neighbor and her dog Aries who is the friendliest best boy ever. We will be back!
We loved our stay! Home is clean, and in a great location.
Beds were a little hard for our taste but we were only there one might. Love the deco and antiques.
We stayed here for one night to break up the 12 hour drive between Denver and Dallas. The 1920’s house is charming and located in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. We were traveling with our two dogs and the fenced backyard was perfect for them. We will definitely stay here again next time we take a trip to Denver.
Good location and quiet neighborhood.
We stopped here overnight on the way to the mountains. It was a great place for our family and small dog. And, so close to go catch a Sod Poodles game! The owner was super nice and everything was very clean. I enjoyed the old, historic feel of the house.
We stayed one night and slept great! Super comfortable accommodations and clean. I love how the place was decorated and my kiddos enjoyed staying in a 1920s home. Loved the coffee setup!
The house was a really nice place that had everything we needed. We enjoyed all the nice touches and the hosts were very responsive. We stayed overnight on our way to Arkansas. Hosts were great to work with and allowed me to store my mountain bikes in the garage.
Comfortable and clean
From check-in to check-out, this was a fantastic rental. Quiet neighborhood that is close to the Interstate with plenty of parking. The house is beautiful inside… well decorated, amazingly clean! It feels as if you are staying at a relative’s home, not just a rental and has all the amenities you would need. All that and pet friendly! Highly recommended!
The stay was so fast and quick. We were driving back from a soccer tournament in Commerce City, CO down to our home town of McKinney, TX. It has everything you need for a much longer stay. Very quaint, clean and themed in the 20's. Super cute!
