WOW House - Prime Panoramic Oceanfront Home

The view can not be beat! If you are planning on cooking, you will be pleasantly surprised. The only appliance that they did not have was an air fryer.

As soon as we walked up the stairs to the main living area, everyone said Wow The kitchen has everything that you will ever need/want. The pantry is well stocked with spices, oil, aluminum foil and every type of pots and pans. Once seeing all of this bounty we ditched plans to eat at a restaurant and instead we did a quick shop at a nearby grocery store and cooked a nice prime rib dinner! Shopping, restaurants and gift shops are all located within two miles of the house. Rent this house, then you can thank me later.

The view is worth a Million dollars. The property is the best stocked I have ever been in. Had something for every need, Kitchen incredibly stocked. House was quiet. Location great. Walk to the beach. Town was good. My only slight complaint was the carpets were dirty. Otherwise it was great.

This is an older home, with the most spectacular view of the ocean and sunsets. It is located on a quiet street with a lot of privacy. There is a trail leading to the beach very close to the home and that trail is great cardio. There were only two of us so, we did not use all the bedrooms that were very nice downstairs. The master bedroom is huge with a fabulous view of the ocean. If you're a cook the kitchen has every type of pot, pan, dishes, bowls etc. that you need. We mostly ate out at the nearby downtown that was within walking distance. This house is a Wow!

All was wonderful. The view alone was amazing. The home is older but it was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. Nice quiet street and lovely beach access.

This beachfront home has a fantastic ocean view with a well maintained, albeit steep path to the beach just steps away. The home is very dated with an excessive amount of beach themed decor, which is most likely excluded from regular cleaning. The furniture is comfortable but mismatched, the electric fireplace very rusty in appearance. The listing does not hide these features; it was just more so than we expected. The kitchen is well-stocked with beach themed plates, bowls, platters, but lacks organization. Perhaps labeling the cupboards and drawers would be helpful. There were more than 20 knives but not a full set of measuring spoons or cups. It would also be helpful to have a guest book with instructions for the tv and for check-out as well as for other important information. Our host was very responsive to internet issues which were quickly resolved and was kind to offer early entry and a later check-out without charge. This house is a very good value for it's amenities, but would really WOW with a few upgrades.

Location, view, ease of check in, kitchen amenities

The home is situated overlooking a wonderful beach area of Newport. It is close to restaurants and sight seeing activities. The beach is accessible by a well cared for path very near the house. The house itself was very clean, well stocked with linens, dishes, and daily supplies. Our family enjoyed the coziness, comfortable chairs and amenities. We had a wonderful stay at the WOW house.

This home has the best view of any house in newport. Path to beach right next door. Beds comfy and very clean. It is a period house with beautiful wood everywhere, not cookie cutter at all.We have stayed before and look forward to our next visit.

Everything was set up nice. It was clean and smelled clean. The living room had lots of chairs and we all loved the view.

The house is clean and stocked with everything you could need. The host was friendly and accomidating when i messed up the dates. The views are unparralled.

We had an amazing time at WOW house! Jim and Lana are top notch hosts! The house had everything we needed, including all of the pots, pans, and utensils to put together a Thanksgiving dinner! There were seven of us, and the house, with the 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms, accommodated us all very comfortably. And…. the view from the floor to ceiling windows.. fantastic! We will return! As a matter of fact, none of us wanted to leave! The beach was a short hike down from the house, but it is a well maintained path. The beach was incredible, even in the rain!

The kitchen is well equipped and having laundry machines is very helpful. Lighting in living room needed a few adjustments since we were there in the fall. The views are gorgeous.

Our whole group wasn’t able to join due to an emergency in the family, so I wasn’t able to attend, but the hosts were so kind and understanding while trying to figure out rescheduling. In the long run, my sister and her husband ended up staying. She said she was absolutely floored at the beauty of the scenery and said the house was perfect and sparkly clean. She also said the beds were very comfortable as well. She told me this was a top trip of her lifetime. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The place was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. A short walk to the beach, and a short drive to either of the places I like to eat and shop in Newport. Jim and Lana were attentive and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!

Great location and stunning views

Wonderful property. One thing would have been nice would have been a note on how to use all the remotes for the TV. But wonderful property and great view of the beach and lighthouse.

Location was perfect. The size of the house was perfect for our needs. Communication with the owners was excellent.

Gorgeous views. Lots of thoughtful touches not always included in rental properties - washer/dryer, toiletries, rain jackets to use if needed, great restaurant recommendations...Clean, VERY well stocked kitchen comfy beds, plenty of hot water for showers for 5 adults and strong wifi. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. Should we return to the Eugene area we would definitely stay again!

Our trip to the ‘Wow’ house was everything we hoped it would be! The house itself is incredibly well stocked, the beds were all comfortable, and there was plenty of space for seven adults. We absolutely loved the decor and the feel of the house and as everybody has already stated, the location and view is out of those world! We appreciated the willingness of the owners to work with us when we had a glitch come up prior to our stay. They were incredibly easy to communicate with and were quick to respond. We loved the location and the easy access to the beach. We were sad to have to go home, but will definitely be back!

We had two families with grown children stay for a week. It had enough room for everyone and we really enjoyed the house. The kitchen is stocked well. The beds were comfortable. The short walk to the beach was really convenient. We had to run to the grocery store a few times and it was really close. Great location, clean, and comfortable.

My wife and I, My son and daughter, plus our 10 yr.old grandson and 8 yr. old granddaughter stayed here for two full weeks. The view is incredible and the family enjoyed the sunsets plus beach and lighthouse vistas on a daily basis. The kitchen has everything you need, and the beds were all comfortable. Newport is also a favorite destination for us because of the plethera of activities available. We went crabbing, horseback riding and did the Aquarium, plus countless walks on Nye and Agate beaches. Our hosts were impecibly kind and helpful. Wonderful experience!

Amazing trip to Newport. The WOW House had plenty of room for all 8 of us and the views were perfect. I highly recommend this house and this location.

we spent 8 glorious nightsat the Wow house! the view is so magnificent, tho a but chilly outside and windy nothing could take away from the beautiful views . Just bring a jacket! we enjoyed walks on the beach and our dogs loved it as much as we did. The house is comfortable and easy. just what we wanted for a family vacation . the beds were comfortable . The well equipped kitchen was perfect when we wanted to cook at home. We had a fabulous dinner at Clearwater restaurant , a day at the aquarium, a trip to the light house. my husband and grandson enjoyed golfing at the local course. we left refreshed and rested. just what we wanted.

You cannot beat the view and location of this property!

This property is beautiful. The ocean views are spectacular. The house is extremely clean, well decorated, convenient, short walk to beach, well appointed, all appliances and media work very well. You will be very satisfied you are staying here.

We had an incredible stay! Like many others have mentioned, the views were absolutely amazing, and the kitchen was by far one of the best-stocked we've ever had in a vacation rental. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, easy access to the beach trail right out the front door, super comfortable beds, and a great layout—all of it was perfect.What really set this rental apart for me was the excellent communication with the owners. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating, even going out of their way to let us know when the home was ready a little early. That kind of thoughtfulness made a big difference, and we truly appreciated it. We will definitely be back!

The house was beautiful. It felt like you were staying in a museum with all the beautiful beach decor. The views and beach access were the best we've ever stayed at. We loved it and will definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location and great views of the ocean and beach. Our kids had plenty of room to play inside and there is a trail right next to the house down to the beach.

So many good things. Easy parking, level with door. The view was stunning through the huge windows. Would be a wonderful place to see the King Tides.

Nothing compares to the view of this house. The house is warm and clean. Just wish we would have known the fireplace was not working. We hauled a bunch of wood over with us. We would stay here again.

The house is in a fantastic location, right next to a short trail to the beach, and a quick walk or drive to all the shops and restaurants of Nye Beach. The Aquarium and Newport waterfront are just minutes away. Communications with the owners before, during and after our stay were excellent. The house is very comfortable and the view is spectacular.

Great gathering space for family right next to beach access.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wow house. The location was private, yet close to Nye Beach, restaurants, and shops. The view from the great room was breathtaking, and it was just a short walk down the trail to the beach. The decor was fun and eclectic, the kitchen well-stocked, and plenty of beds and clean linens for a large family / group. The house needs some upgrades, but everything worked. Be sure to bring your own games / puzzles for those rainy days.

This was the 3rd year that our California and Oregon families spent a pre-holiday weekend at the WOW House. The location of the property is close to restaurants and has spectacular views of the coast. Highly recommend this rental!

The house has amazing views and is very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. We loved that they are very welcoming to dogs. Our 2 dogs had the time of their lives there. We loved their relaxed approach.

This is a great place! The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to restaurants and shops. The house furnishings are eclectic and the décor a bit kitschy but fun. Our hosts, Jim and Lana, were friendly, responsive and always helpful But the primary attraction, and the reason we'll be back, is the amazing views - WOW. . I highly recommend this beautiful retreat for a few days or a few weeks.

This house was such a perfect size and location for family. Communication with the owner was straightforward and quick. We recommend this house if you’re trying to be in a safe, easy-to-find house.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. The views were amazing and the house was clean and inviting. I’m disabled and because everything is on the upstairs level I had a hard time getting up and down the stairs and I guess I didn’t realize there were so many stairs. My mom is 85 and she was taking a shower in the downstairs bathroom and there is nothing to hold onto in the shower so she had to hold onto the toilet to get out of the shower so maybe put a safety bar somewhere around there. The one ply toilet paper was disappointing, but everything else was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a wonderful stay at the beach!
