Lexington, Kentucky
Summary:
This is a 3 bed / 2 bath, with full kitchen. It is just two blocks from downtown, Rupp Arena, Town & Branch Distillery, and close to the Red Mile, the Kentucky Horse Park and the UK Campus. Perfect for large groups visiting the Bourbon Trail, events at Rupp, Keeneland, or just looking for a place for a group to get away. A large yard is also a great gathering place for your group.
The Space:
Quaint house for your family or large party to use when visiting downtown Lexington. Complete re-model this past summer.
This house has everything a larger group needs. Three bedrooms will sleep six people with a couch and bedroll to bring the figure to eight. Two full baths keep everyone happy when getting ready for your adventures. There is a full kitchen and even a laundry room for those staying for longer periods.
Guest Access:
The whole home is set up for you. We have other units on Airbnb and know how to host. A streaming television and high-speed internet with Wifi are offered for your entertainment. Plenty of parking (rare for downtown) and a great location. Laundry room for those wanting extended stays.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is evolving into the jewel of downtown Lexington. In the next couple of years, a new dining, retail and bourbon experience hub will be completed less than a block away. The Oliver Lewis Way Extension (connecting the interstate to downtown and on to the University) is just two houses away (opened Sept 2017). We are less than a ten minute walk from Rupp Arena, Jefferson Street food district, Town & Branch Distillery, Manchester Music Hall, the Red Mile and all that downtown has to offer. An eclectic mix of students, young professionals, and longtime Lexington residents make up our neighborhood.
Two things to let you know about the neighborhood: One, new retail and dining hub in this area of downtown is on the way. There is work being done all over downtown to updated the infrastructure, so you may see some construction in neighboring areas. Second, there is a boarded up house next door. We are in the process of buying this property to tear down, but are waiting on the city before we can proceed.
Getting Around:
You are within walking distance of downtown, UK Campus and only a block away from the Town & Branch Distillery. Lexington offers plenty of cabs and ride sharing services. A trolley can be picked up downtown and will take you to Keeneland or Kroger Field for football games.
Other Things to Note:
This unit is recently renovated. While the house itself is not new, all the surfaces inside are. We have renovated, furnished, and put some love into this home. It is a place we have stayed ourselves and look forward to sharing with you.
Interaction with Guests:
We will be available to you via phone/text at any time. Front door has keypad lock so you can check in/out at any time. We are only about 30 minutes away in case we need to come by for anything.

Good
This property is close to so many restaurants and activities, but it feels a little off the beaten path because the neighboring homes aren't as updated as this one and many others in the growing area. The neighbors were super nice, we felt safe, and the beds were ultra comfy.
We stayed here when visiting Lexington for Comic-Con. The house was a walkable distance from the convention as well as several other area attractions and restaurants. We found it to be clean, well organized and well decorated, and the property’s manager was easy to contact. All in all I’d definitely stay here again... perhaps the next time Comic Con comes around!
Very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The place was clean and neat when we arrived. We were able to walk to the arena area. Lexington is a beautiful city and area.
Brian was very responsive and texted that day to let us know the property was ready. He refunded deposit very quickly. The house was exactly as pictured, tons of room, clean, well decorated and supplied. The street seemed to be at the beginning of renewal. It was quiet and so very close to what we wanted to see. Brian's restaurant recommendations were terrific. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.
Cozy house, updated and very clean. It has everything you need when away from home. We would stay again if in the area
This house had everything we needed and was super conveniently located.
This was a very nice place for my young children and my elderly parents to spend time together. The large bathroom with large step in shower was great for my parents. There was plenty of space for all of us. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for meals in. We enjoyed some time inside watching Netflix movies on the large television, enjoyed running and playing with bubbles in the back yard. The urban location was a little outside of my suburban comfort zone, so the security cameras were appreciated. Location was great for quick access to Lexington activities. Both our vehicles fit in the driveway. There was an issue with cleaning but it was quickly addressed to our satisfaction and we understood that there was a substitute cleaner prior to our stay. But this well equipped property had all we needed to touch things up and make our stay comfortable. Little touches like soft drinks in the fridge, individual pain relievers in the kitchen basket, nice soaps at each sink, phone chargers, shampoo/conditioner in the showers, toiletries, and local literature in the living room really went above and beyond to make our stay convenient and comfortable. Thank you!
My wife and I stayed here with another couple while making a few stops on the bourbon trail. This house was exactly what we were looking for. The house was comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do. Brian was very helpful and all the information he provided made our stay that much better. We plan on making the trip again and seeing more of the bourbon trail. We will definitely stay here again.
