WONDERFUL FAMILY HOME: CENTRAL AIR, BEACH NEARBY, SUNDAY TO SUNDAY RENTAL

Great house…super clean and convenient to beaches..owner had great communication…nothing but a positive experience!

The title says it all. We loved our stay here and would rent again.

Lots of good things about this charming little house, let’s start there. The galley kitchen is small but serviceable with a nice table that seats 4. The bedrooms are very well appointed and comfortable and the bathrooms are AMAZING!! Clearly a great deal of care and detail was given. The master suite is lovely and there is a wonderful assortment of toys, books, games and puzzles made available as well as DVDs. The hosts are warm and communicative and helpful. Wrap around deck is in rough shape, shoes must be worn, and yard is fine, if that matters to you. Here’s the thing: the “walkable to beach” part in the listing description, which was a major priority for us, is debatable. Perhaps for an adult carrying only a bag and a beach chair it’s feasible. But with children it’s really not doable so you must resort to the “drive to beach drop off drive to house ride bike back rinse repeat in reverse” model. Not the end of the world but not possible if, say, there’s only one adult. So that’s the reason for the 4 stars. Apparently weekly permits are available, which we found out kinda too late for it to make sense to purchase. And let me tell you they are SERIOUS about parking tickets. There’s also a pretty extensive wrap up/clean up list- more so than most rentals I’ve experienced- so it’s not a get up and drive away type of deal. Overall, though, beautiful area and lots to do and explore. Local children’s museum very sweet and surrounding towns fun to check out.

Clay’s cottage was perfect for our family and he was a wonderful host

The main bedroom and both bathrooms are newly remodeled and very nice! The main living/kitchen /dining area is rather small, but the main bedroom has it’s own sitting room that is large with its own tv- and is well away from the front of the house- so when we wanted to go to sleep or just get away from the noise of our 20/21/22 year olds we could! Ideal for a family with kids that age. Nice outdoor showers too. Large deck.

My family and I loved this house and fully enjoyed our stay. The property is close enough to a beach while also being completely secluded and peaceful. The town of Brewster was very fun to explore as well and the house was located with everything you’d want to experience out there a short drive or bike ride away! The property itself was spacious enough for 6 adults to live in and it offered everything we needed to enjoy our time there instead of gathering supplies. The property owner, Clay, was incredibly helpful and friendly from start to finish and made sure I knew of everything I needed to know to ensure our stay was pleasant. Thank you very much!

Our host was very responsive during our stay and made check in easy. The bay beach is a short walk or bike ride. The house was very clean with everything we needed. We can't wait to come again!

Very comfortable quarters and quiet setting. 2 bath rooms and master bedroom were nicely updated. House was tastefully decorated. Kitchen is small but suitable for our party of 4. We enjoyed our stay very much and found it to be a serene country respite from our usual suburbs .

This house and location were perfect for us. We really enjoyed the layout of the house, the books and games and outside time on the porch!
