Quaint rental home with a clubhouse feel. Jacuzzi was out of order as well as one of the sofa/sleepers that is listed on the site which says the home sleeps 14. One of the guests in my party also spent a couple of uncomfortably cold nights because the window in the front bedroom had a huge crack. When I called the owner, he informed me that he was aware and a new one had been ordered. This information did little for the warmth of the bedroom over the weekend, however. Beware shady rental practices by owner. Promised that full security deposit would be returned (in writing/email communication) barring damages to the property. Then gave a partial refund because he chose to pass on the fees of the hosting site to me/the customer. Vrbo (an affiliate of Expedia) opened a case and informed me several times that the error was that of the owner (of course). Extremely disappointing that as a customer, I went into this agreement with good faith and was taken advantage of in such a manner. My first poor experience booking through Expedia.

This property was super close to everything and accommodates a large group of adults. Was perfect for a trip with friends to the Dells to celebrate a birthday!

Clean, very spacious. A lot of light switches that made it hard to figure out . And way to many little notes taped everywhere. But all and all enjoyed very much.

This was a very nice property, great location, large enough for a big family, great amenities. Check in and out was a breeze. The only negative we experienced is that one of the bedrooms wasn't thoroughly cleaned after the last guests as we found some personal items left there. Otherwise, highly recommended.

The spaces were nice. The furniture, oven, sinks, wall paper dated. There was a persistent moth ball and musty smell. Most of the windows didn’t work. Nice location. Great deck. Needed more towels. No salt, few napkins.

Best thing about this home is the location. It's fabulous for anything in the Dells area. We've always stayed at the waterparks, but the location of this home is better because you dont have to walk through hallways for 10 minutes just to get to your car. The house itself is like going to Grandma's. Its dated, smells incredibly musty when you first walk in, and could use some work. The sheds are what you see first and they're extremely delapidated so we were more than a little nervous when we arrived. The house also needed some painting so we were more nervous. Upon entering though, it's fine. It's clean. There was space for everyone. Things are broken like the toilet seat in the best bathroom (that's the blue one, the bathroom door off the kitchen doesn't shut well and the bathroom upstairs has a wobbly toilet that freaked out the kids). The game room is well stocked and we enjoyed playing a couple of games we hadn't played before. We texted that we needed dishwasher pods and the housekeeper showed up with minutes to get them for us. Things i wish i would have brought: tin foil, bottles of hand soap (there are tiny hotel style bars of soap that are difficult for kids), kitchen dish cloths and towels (we eat in frequently and all i could find for cleaning up was a sponge and 3 or 4 kitchen towels). The toilet paper is the cheapest, thinnest known to man, but it's probably easier on their septic. Great place if you don't mind an older house.

Great value, size, location, comfortable beds and ample towels. Several doors and furniture pieces were broken but not too big of a deal.

Great location in the Dells! Literally the closest house possible to the outlet mall and tons of restaurants/services, but still on a huge, private lot. We were here in winter so didn't get to use the giant deck, but it would be a great house in the summer as well. The house is huge and can accomodate a LOT of people. This is not a newly updated modern house, but has a nostalgic feel and you can tell that the owners care about it. It was super clean and had every possible amenity you could want, from lots of kitchen utensils/gadgets to several dozen board games, etc. We would definitely recommend it!

There were many positive things about this house and a couple of negatives. Positive - The place is very large with lots of seating areas. It has a couple of TVs to choose from and some fun games (you have to call them to get the game closet unlocked). There are four bedrooms, one with four bunks. Though we didn't use it, there is also a fold-out couch. There is a nice deck for enjoying the outdoors. The kitchen is loaded with utensils, dishes, pots and pans. The only thing we couldn't find was a cheese cutter. You have full stove, fridge, Microwave, toaster oven, toaster, and two coffee makers, a standard Mr. Coffee and a Keurig. There is a washer and dryer. Three bathrooms with showers and one half-bath. The place was right on the edge of rural and right on the edge of business district and yes, you can easily walk to the outlet mall 1/4 mile away. The place was very clean. Negatives - the house is old. Something can't be helped - sliding glass doors that no longer slide well - or fit well. The bathroom pocket door that is broken so it doesn't close well. The house is a bit dated in decor - but who worries about that with a VRBO. The furnishings are comfortable. It is a little hard to find. They give you an address but don't try to put it into GPS because it won't be recognized. GPS will get you to the road. Look at the fire department numbers on the front of the property to find the house. Some things they could do better. First, they had single ply toilet paper. That may be OK for the Yogi Bear campground bathrooms but is very poor taste for a house bathroom. A Walmart brand 2-ply would be so much better. 2nd, they have no shower soap or bathsoap complimentary - but plenty of bottles of shampoo. They have no Kleenex and no napkins. When it came time to check out, we couldn't get ahold of anyone. Their check-out instructions weren't clear and there was no one to answer our questions. So we just did our best. But overall, it was a very good experience and the positives outweighed our negatives.

The property is excellently located, large enough for a group, and plenty of parking. It’s a well used property that could use a little maintenance attention. The bunk beds are a bit rickety for adults. The pocket doors don’t slide well. This year we couldn’t find extra sheets for the hide-a-beds. Otherwise, it’s a good choice for a large group. The price is right and the property manager is very responsive. We’ll definitely stay here again!
