Stayed with a pet
The house was plenty spacious for 12 people and 2 dogs during our 3 night stay! We had a hard time finding bedding for the pull-out sofa but Melinda was very responsive and helpful. The outdoor space was private and relaxing.

This home was perfect for our family of 10 stay. Stocked well in the kitchen and bathrooms with everyday necessities! Convenient to all attractions. Grandkids ages 10 & 13 enjoyed the hot tub and we all enjoyed the game room!! Would stay here again for sure

Overall, this was a nice stay, but I cannot give it a 5 star rating. Some things were grimy: lots of sand and dirt sediment in the hot tub, grill was extremely dirty with caked on food, as if it's never been cleaned before. We had a fridge problem where there was no ice able to be made, and the temps were too low to keep our food safe. We had to buy ice and store in coolers. I will say that Melinda was extremely quick to problem solve this issue for us, so thank you, Melinda. And we appreciate the partial refund, but it put a damper on our trip. Especially with a baby in the house, his milk needed to be kept cold and it was a huge inconvenience to take time from our vacation to do that. Other details that were amiss:No chalk for the pool cues, which rendered them basically useless. ONLY TWO rolls of paper towels in the house which we did not realize until the second one finished and this is unacceptable since we had a lot of people staying. Not too many normal size drink glasses. There were mostly coffee mugs and tiny plastic juice cups. The bathroom fans made EXTREMELY loud noise and unsure if they actually work. Dripping water in the upstairs bathroom shower. It was a great property, but we were expecting more from our stay. Will most likely not be booking through this company again.

We has a great time making memories in this cabin. Great views! The drive up to the house was scary for a Florida Family that is not use to mountain drives but we took our time and learned the road. Home had essentials and kitchen well stocked. Communication with Melinda was excellent! Check in was easy and space was perfect for 10 of us!

The house was beautiful, and not far from anything that we did. I had emailed the PM for an earlier check in time but she didn’t see it, so We arrived before the check in time, the cleaners hadn’t been there yet, so we left and just explored for a few hours. When we returned and it was ready, it still wasn’t very clean. We had to change the AC filter, the toilet quit working, and there was a lot of dust on things. We just cleaned what we needed to and still enjoyed the stay!

We enjoyed the feeling of having the mountain to ourselves with only the occasional car going past to their unseen homes. The house was spacious and very accommodating for each family member.

The house is located on a steep and windy road. It was a bit scary, but once we got used to it, it was okay. Definitely not the type of road to drive if you have had a drink or two. Private location, nice yard a fire pit. The house itself was clean but could use a little updating. A little on the rustic side. Was a little older than the pictures reveal. Beds were very comfortable. One upstairs room gets pretty stuffy. Can’t open windows because of the bears. There wasn’t an exhaust fan over the stove and oven, which made it a bit warm in the house but maybe that is the norm for the area??? Sun room was too hot to sit in the evening. Morning it was a little cooler. The trees are overground there wasn’t much of a view. We did hear the steam train whistling every evening which was very cool! Overall it was clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was a great size for 3 teenagers and 9 adults. The fireplaces were a welcome addition, and we enjoyed the hot tub too.
