We all loved every second of our stay! So many special details enjoyed at VRBO home! Thank you for everything!
This is a pretty large house with well stocked kitchen. The location is awesome with great access to ski area and the hiking trailhead to Wheeler Peak. The appliances are modern, the heating is tricky to get going but not difficult. The owners/MGMT company is easy to pet fun touch with.
This house and location was great and just as listed! Super clean and there were enough beds for all 11 of us, bearing in mind that there were 3 groups of couples. If all 11 guests were singles, some may have either needed to buddy up in one of the King sized beds and/or sleep on the pullout couch downstairs. The parking area was newly plowed for us so we had no issue with the parking. The listing says 2 car spots available but I would say that it would be possible to fit 3 in there if you squeezed. Definitely no room for a fourth. The walk to lifts/village area is not bad at all. We weren't sure how much of a hassle and trek it was going to be but had not trouble managing to do it in our ski and snowboard boots each day. The walk is down the road and probably took us about 10-15 minutes. There is a downhill grade but it's nothing steep; however, after a long day of skiing and not being acclimated to the altitude, you may get a slight shortness of breath while carrying your gear on the way back up. Kitchen/Cooking: The kitchen was well-equipped for those who like and plan to cook. All the necessary utensils and pans and even a cast iron skillet. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they left us with decent cooking skillets and not ones with all sorts of old burn marks (that really should be thrown out) that you typically find at rental houses. This made cooking breakfast and dinner much more enjoyable. House was also equipped with an automatic coffee maker and espresso machine. There was some leftover coffee beans from prior guests but I would suggest making sure to bring your own. Plenty of coffee filters though. We did run out of olive oil so would suggest to buy some unless the rental agency advises in advance if there is enough in stock. Wish there was a hot tub but it wasn't that big of a disappointment. Being able to walk to the slopes outweighs having a hot tub at the end of the day. I would 10/10 stay at this location again.
We arrived to this gorgeous cabin 2 days after a 2.5' of new snow. The cabin is set up nicely with different living areas for socializing and has everything your group might need for your stay. The furniture, bedding, and decorations are very tasteful and comfortable. We especially loved the ski/mud room with boot warmers. A special bonus is walking 5 minutes to the main village and lifts. It made it very convenient for everyone to stay on their own schedule and enjoy the mountain as much or as little as they wanted. Would love to stay here again.
Nice property that is close to the slopes. Sleeps a lot. Only real downside is that it needs new couches in TV area (very uncomfy and worn). Also, would nice to have access to national networks on TV so that you can watch football.
It was nice.
Very nice cabin very comfortable, and near to the lifts.
