Willow's Hideaway - Pet friendly cozy cabin!

This stay in this cabin at Tahoe was one of our favorites. This cabin was very well-equipped and we appreciated the enclosed backyard for our dogs; kids liked the billiard and game console. But first and foremost, the cabin was well-maintained and clean. Kitchen and bathrooms (towels and kitchen tools, etc. ) were very well kept which is very important to my every stay. Location was prime. The host was also responding immediately to our inquiries. I wouldn’t hesitate coming back to this place and I would highly recommend this cabin to friends and family. The only constructive criticisms I have is the check-in and check-out times. Check-in time at 4pm, in my opinion, is too late for our first day to enjoy the cabin’s yard since it gets dark pretty early in the winter time. Check-out time at 10am is also cutting our stay even shorter in the cabin. The dishwasher wasn’t functioning. The steps leading to the house and leading to the backyard were not adequately free of snow/ice, making it risky for a fall for our aged parents. Overall, this was a pleasant weekend stay. We loved the place and plan on coming back.

Willow's Hideaway is a great house with everything that you'll need to enjoy a vacation with your family and pet. The neighborhood is quiet and located near a couple of local golf courses, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Kiva Beach is perfect for your water loving dog and only about 15 minutes away. The house itself is very comfortable and accommodating. Looking forward to booking this again.

Willow’s Hideaway was a fantastic choice for our family! It’s hard to find a NICE rental for 5-6 adults and our dog. This was perfect. The house was comfortable and clean and had room to gather for games and conversation! The beds were comfortable and everyone had room. It’s also close to Sierra at Tahoe ski resort which was convenient for our trip. We also enjoyed going into South Lake for some dinner and drinks. The fenced yard was so nice for our dog although he had to get used to the deep snow! We had one small plumbing incident and the management company responded quickly! We hope to return to this same location in the near future!!

Absolutely charming house. Kitchen and baths upgraded and wonderful. Wood accent walls are awesome. Beds are very comfortable.Downsides: 1 not a fan the tandem driveway parking...especially in the snow, 2 stove has no visible exhaust fan, it may have a vent built in but we could not figure out how to operate it, 3 the wood stove had no grate which is essential for a wood burning fire and the instructions say to open the damper (duh) but this stove has two dampers one above and one below the firebox and no instructions as to which setting is open or closed, 4 the ominous warnings about damaging the kitchen table prompted us to not use it at all, 5 the living room is lighted by overhead spot lights which caused me to shield my eyes when watching tv, 6 After charging $50 per dog per night, we were warned that security cameras were watching us to make sure we picked up any dog poop (difficult at best in a foot of powder snow) 7 an electronic control device (never seen anything like it) have no instructions for use. More instructions in the house packet or VRBO letter would have been nice. VRBO, when asked on day 2, provided quick response with a very clear picture of the proper fireplace operation (why is this not in the information packet?) and delivered a suitable fireplace grate and a new toaster.

This was an amazing experience! The property was clean and absolutely beautiful. The beds were comfy and there were extra blankets for cold nights. The backyard was fully fenced, which was nice for our dogs. All of the expectations for guests were clearly stated and reasonable. My family would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay in Tahoe! My kids loved the arcade and easy access to play in the ❄️ snow in the front and back yards! The house was great! Plenty of room for all of our kids! This is a great place for large families! The pool table and ping pong was a hit with my teenagers. The heated bathroom floors were amazing ☺️ thank you

Amazing stay with a lot of amenities. Good communication with host and decently close to all major spots.

We had a great time with our adult children. The home was clean and perfect for us. We enjoyed the video arcade machine and the pool table. I am sure we will stay again since we love Lake Tahoe.

Inside of house is as shown on the website. Keeping in mind that wide lens photos make rooms a lot bigger; the place is still big enough to feel comfortable with enough space to move around. The house was very clean when we visited; and very cozy.
