My siblings and I decided to make a trip up to visit Mackinac island and stayed in Cheboygen. We enjoyed the quiet retreat and amenities. The fire pit, wood and abundance of coffee was a nice touch. It was very clean and comfortable.

Everything was good. The only issue the bath towels and wash cloths all smelled like smoke when we arrived. We washed all of them. There was evaporation from water treating system in the laundry room floor requiring towels to be put around tanks to absorb the water. For the most part it was good for our 3 night stay there. Comfortable beds.

Everything was great. Wish there was an ice maker instead of one plastic tray. Also, would be nice to have the address out by the road as it is hidden and GPS wasn’t accurate. We had a great family trip visiting Mackinac Island and city. Went to lumberjack show, historic sawmill, glass bottom boat trip and a great Sandy beach with a pier and lighthouse. The kids had a ball. Thanks

I loved that this property was quiet and off the beaten path, but was so close to everything we wanted to see and do. The check-in/check-out process was super easy. The house was clean and well kept. We would stay there again!

We’ve been making our way around MI coastal towns and happened upon this house for our trip to Cheboygan. The house was great; nice, new, all the amenities. Only complaint, the wi-fi coverage wasn’t great and the internet connection was spotty, and that is kind of expected given the location. Otherwise everything was great.

My husband and I just wanted a nice quiet getaway and this was perfect. Atmosphere was perfect it snowed so we got some nice outdoor pictures taken. Location of home to Cheboygan for food shopping and Mackinaw city to visit the park and see the mighty Mac was extremely convenient. We have stayed here three times so far and just love it. Feels like home the home is always super clean and communication with the company freshwater is always fantastic and they have a quick response time. We will for sure be back hopefully soon ?

We absolutely love this location! They had everything we needed and more. I had family in from different states. We were able to have a bonfire and watch the Northern lights directly above our heads! We took a short trip to the Dark Park as well. We also spent the day on Mackinac Island. This is a great property if you are looking to do the Labor Day Mackinac Bridgewalk. About 15 minute drive to Mackinac City. Our family of eight adults really enjoyed this place. It was very clean and well-maintained. The outdoor fire pit was a big plus for cool September evenings. Definitely would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Every year we stay in a hotel in St Ignace for our annual trip to Mackinac Island and Crisp Point. With 2 adults and 2 newly adult children space was definitely needed. We needed more room. Your house was perfect. We'll stocked, clean and was more relaxing then squeezing into a hotel each night after our adventures. We will be back!

The listing did not state exactly how remote the location was. The house is located on a gravel road in an extremely remote location. The street number had fallen down making it difficult to find the house as the house is not visible from the rural road. The house itself was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and spacious. There were six women in our group. We would not stay there again because of the remote location. There is no security system which concerned us, again because of the remote location.

Great property for day tripping all over the area. Prefect with minimal items for kids to get into but they all got their own bed. Area outside is woodchipped so great for passing catch. We would certainly good back and use of we end up in the area again.

4 adults and 2 kids (4 and 9) stayed memorial weekend - We spent time in both Cheboygan and Mackinac City - perfect location for us. House was super clean. Everything we needed was there. Beds are very comfortable - I did bring my own pillows. We had a couple bonfires, grilled and just spent time relaxing. The kids had plenty of room to roam outside and there were games inside as well - we had a little bit of rain. Overall EXCELLENT home to stay in and we will definitely be back for hopefully a longer stay next time!
