A small group of friends stayed with us here and we had a great time. The house was even more spacious than the photos let on. We loved the layout. The kitchen was really well stocked with cooking and baking tools. The hot tub was awesome and the views were even better. We'd definitely stay again!
Wow…….just wow! I can’t say enough about this place, It was stunning! It was perfect for our group of 8. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Even though the house is large, it’s very cozy and welcoming. The location is so peaceful, yet really close to town.
So good we came back a 2nd year. This is the most gorgeous home, complete with a wood burning fireplace and a beautiful open kitchen that has literally every item you’d ever dream of. Need a cast iron bacon press? Check. Need 7 sets of scissors? Check. Crazy glue, a guitar tuner, a magnifying glass, 700 spices and oils and le cruset pots to make a winter casserole in? Check, check, check. Beyond that, the setup is perfect for families and the location is great. If there’s snow on the road, you can ski right from “Home Run” into the back door, which we did every day. Just book it, you’ll love it.
Our group really loved our time at Whispering Pines. We happened to be there while temps were well into the negative numbers and having a comfortable house with plenty of space and activities was great. The walk to the nearest ski access isn’t bad but long enough to break a sweat in the am. We would be happy to rent here again and are great full to the owners for making it available. (And their obvious culinary prowess that is apparent in the styling and stocking of the kitchen)
Perfect place to stay
We had a fantastic time staying at this property! It easily accommodated 9 adults, and we only had to walk about a block uphill to get to a run that brought us to the base of Whistler Mountain. Great amenities, very nice property
Beautiful home and peaceful setting with a gorgeous view
Plenty of room for the family. Lovely home with washer and dryer! Friendly staff. The driveway was steep and icy and cable was inconsistent. Great spot for skiing!
This was an amazing vacation with our adult kids. We were able to ski, hot tub and spend time together as a family without being crowded. The house is nicely appointed, there are plenty of games, great spaces to stretch out and rest and be together or to have quiet time. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and there are enough dishes to actually serve a pepper meal which might. It always be the case with a vacation rental. The home owners have seen to every detail from making sure there is coffee and dish detergent to ensuring there are soaking salts for the tub. Nice quality linens, plenty of entertainment options, nicely marked signage for how to use the home, etc. it was like staying with friends. The actual location is right between the village and base camp so you have a choice of where to ski. If you take HomeAgain, jump off just after chair 6 (I think). It’s just a short walk down the street to the property. Amazing views and oh so comfortable. Great property, amazing hosts and lovely ski area for all abilities.
really nice place! very spacious great kitchen though needs a few more pots and pans the views were beautiful very clean lots of nice bathrooms Only suggestion is to leave a map of how to ski in and ski out because it is confusing the first time
