We needed a great place to stay for our niece and my children’s first cousin’s marriage. We were very satisfied with the rental which was as advertised. Very private and relaxing get away long weekend.
We had a group of 18 adults stay several days and everyone loved their stay. We all travel together every July and this was our favorite home for the past 13 years. The kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need. Everything! The entire house was perfect for all of us and that says a lot for 16 adults. The pool is large and awesome. We enjoyed all the outside amenities! If you’re considering a place for a group, this is it! You won’t regret it.
Needed a large property with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate 10 adults, Property was gorgeous and plenty large for us all to move around without bumping into one another. Pool area was awesomely large with TV, Music and shade available under the shell. Will look to come back in years to come.
Amazing
14 of us stayed here. Beautiful private location. Very clean with all the amenities to host a large group. Outdoor spaces are well designed for large groups. Water heater could use some updates but fantastic otherwise.
My now husband and I decided to stay here with our families during the weekend of our wedding and I don’t have enough words to express how happy we were during our stay. The house was so comfortable and beautiful!!! Everything on the description is 100% accurate. We used every inch of the property and one space was better than the other one!! I totally recomend this house for families and friends. The pool area was amazing!! We had so much fun. We all agreed that we have to come back very soon.
The home is amazing ! Well kept. Beautiful grounds. Perfect for our needs The one big problem was that we did not have hot water. Was told at ck in that it had low presure and not much hot water. But boy it was just cold. Not great with all the girls in the home. This problem should have be taken care of before renting it. Y husband asked to use guest house so we could shower and was told to pay for cleaning g it. Think In good faith that should have been opened to us to use since the plunbing was not working Besides all that we loved our stay. Thank you
Spacious well appointed home with massive yard and outdoor pool / TV (duel) great for enjoying time with good friend and catching up. Easy ride to airport and downtown Austin. Don’t miss the BBQ while in the area.
The house was an absolute dream for our family reunion. Plenty of space for all of us. A beautiful pool area. Lots of dining space. Lots of great ways to entertain people of all ages. But the best part is the level of service. Josh was super responsive and helpful! Can't wait to stay here again!!
Three generations of our family got together for 8 nights at Whispering Oaks at the end of July 2021. Our group included 8 adults, 3 teenagers and 5 additional kids, ages 18 months – 6 years of age. Joshua, the owner met us when we checked in and showed us around, making sure we knew how to access the Wi-Fi and answered any questions we had. The main house is a large beautiful house nestled among a grove of live oak trees. The house was very clean and the huge grounds were well-kept. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our large group. The teens enjoyed using the adjoining bedrooms above the garage as their space where they could sleep in and stay up late. The large kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, cookware and silverware though we chose to use mostly paper plates and plastic silverware to cut down on the amount of clean-up needed nightly, running the dishwasher just once a day. We cooked our meals most nights using the gas grill. Though the dining room was large and could seat our whole group, we ended up eating informally at the large square table in the breakfast room or on the huge back deck with two tables and plenty of chairs. The grocery store was just 10 minutes away and due to the size of our group we made a trip once a day. The extra fridge in the laundry room was very handy, as was the washer and dryer. There were plenty of towels for the house and pool though we did bring some of our own pool towels as well. Upstairs, between the four bedrooms, was a large desk where one of my daughters set up her computer so she could work remotely for a few hours each day. Everyone loved the pool and the little ones spent many hours swimming each day! We could even keep tabs on the Olympics on the two large TVs in the poolside cabana. One night we used the firepit and made s’mores. That was a real treat for the kids! Our family had a wonderful week making lots of lasting memories at Whispering Oaks. We highly recommend it!
