Lovely property with beautiful old shade trees. Host is very accommodating, home baked goodies and cold drinks upon arrival. Very spacious 3 bedroom home with hugh living space. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing location. Will definitely stay here again.
Plenty of room for all, nooks to read on, games to play, 2 tvs and WiFi. Something for everyone. So peaceful and not too far from town.
We enjoyed our weekend stay. We were in town for our daughters wedding. Latricia and Larry jumped into action to help when we arrived early with a wedding cake that wouldn’t fit in the venue refrigerator. They helped arrange it so that it did fit in the refrigerator here. She had baked the best brownies and left them for us and even had fresh tomatoes on the table. I want to come back just to be able to relax next time.
Nice place. Quiet and peaceful.
We just came home from a beautiful and relaxing month at this property! Latricia is the hostess-with-the-mostest, checking in regularly, providing delicious treats, and responding immediately to questions or concerns! I never knew how relaxing watching cows could be (and even the unexpected visit from a neighboring herd was fun to be a part of). We were immersed in a different locality and way of life, which is what I love about VRBO traveling. I highly recommend this property and these hosts!
The stay was amazing! So clean and enjoyable. The property manager was easy to get in touch with.
We enjoyed our stay. We came for my daughter's graduation from SFASU. Everything was clean. Very very quite out there. Only down side was driving down that long dark road at night.
Property was very clean and nice. A great place to stay if you want to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The owner was very responsive and friendly. Latricia baked us chocolate chip cookies and blueberry muffins and they were incredibly tasty. Would highly recommend.
The property owner was so amazing, she referred us to many wonderful eateries, downtown Nach is Beautiful. Our dogs enjoyed the property and we felt welcome, safe & happy making memories. We even were treated to some of her home baked goods. Yummy! So glad we got the opportunity to visit.
The house was very clean. Having the two bathrooms was very helpful. There are very comfortable sitting and sleeping accommodations. We look forward to using this rental again when we return to visit our Daughter at SFA.
It was a very nice and comfortable visit in a lovely home.
We absolutely loved our stay here! We enjoyed the peaceful evenings while our boys explored, watched the cows and loved on Stitches the cat. We will definitely be back!
Whisper Oaks was an excellent 'base camp' for our family attending our brother's wedding in the area. The hosts are gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the treats when we arrived and sitting out on the back patio under the trees.
I think our senior dog, Sissy enjoyed the free roaming more than my husband and I’s stay. It’s quiet and secluded with lots of land for our dog to roam on. This is our second time staying here. The hosts are very hospitable.
