This was my second stay at The Whippoorwill Haus and it was just as perfect as the first. Debbie is such a wonderful host! The house is beautifully decorated, well equipped, so comfortable, and very conveniently located. I look forward to staying here again!

This is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting! Love that each bedroom has its own bath. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there was a nice porch to sit on to see the beautiful countryside.

We rented Whippoorwill Haus for our 4 day family reunion in RoundTop, and our decision to stay here could not have been better. This perfectly decorated home was equipped with everything (and more!) we needed, from an abundance of dining & cook ware to 4 guest suites with private baths to relaxing views of nature from the large back porch. The expansive living room & dining area were perfect for the 6 of us and it easily accommodated other family members who visited. Whippoorwill Haus was quiet and peaceful in the evenings, with the faint sounds of birds and star-filled skies at night. Everyone in our group voted Whippoorwill Haus the #1 VRBO residence we had ever experienced!

Whippoorwill Haus is a true haven! My siblings and their spouses gathered for a much-needed getaway and reconnection time and Whippoorwill Haus provided the perfect place to unwind, share meals and tell stories from our childhood. We cooked together in the well-appointed kitchen and ate meals on the large tables inside and on the back porch. We also gathered on the back porch with our coffee every morning and cocktails and wine watching the longhorns every afternoon. We spent time in town shopping, sipping, and enjoying dinner at Boon & Company and other great restaurants and shops and also enjoyed the art festival happening that weekend. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that we could drive just a couple of miles back to Whippoorwill Haus to relax again. We highly recommend Whippoorwill Haus for your next getaway.

Our girls’ weekend getaway was absolutely wonderful! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a plate of cookies, such a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Every detail was perfect, and the warm, cozy atmosphere made our stay truly special. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend at Whippoorwill Haus! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need! Debbie, the host was so great and made us feel so welcome. The beds are truly the most comfortable we have slept in! The location of the house was so close to Round Top. It was very easy to go back-and-forth. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This house has an excellent location just a few miles from the center of Round Top. Debbie the owner keeps it stocked with everything you need (lots more than most VRBOs I've stayed in). The house is on a farm that is beautiful and peaceful with giant oak trees. This would also be a great place for a couples weekend retreat - four couples would fit comfortably.

I think this was our 5th year to stay at this home. It is beautiful, very accommodating- there are 11 of us- has top of the line amenities, comfortable furniture, and cozy beds. Already booked for next year!

I've been coming to the Round Top Antique Fair for years and this is the best place I've ever stayed - will definitely come back! Beautiful country views, nicely decorated and all the things you need. Debbie is the perfect hostess!

Debbie was amazing! We had a work trip that changed a lot throughout the planning process and she helped every step. From changing dates, to changing them again, she was super helpful.

Property is a favorite among friends. Everything about it is just top notch. Location, overall property is quiet and gorgeous. Home is beautifully decorated with all the lovely extras including fresh flowers. Host is phenomenal and very accommodating. Really a 5+ property.
