Everything was great. Would definitely stay again… and probably bring the kids next time!

Nice location, close to lots of things to do. Good setup to house. Large space for more than we had. We were disappointed that the hot tub was closed for the winter since it was one reason we picked this location and that was not advertised.

Perfect place for a wonderful family get together

As the photos indicate, this home is older and outdated. But it was very clean. We did not have a large group, but it would be perfect for one - lots of beds and bedrooms, and two kitchens on multiple levels. Would be great for multiple families. We brought our 22’ power boat and enjoyed the deep water. It’s about a 20-25 minute boat ride to Gainesville Marina, and obviously further to Margaritaville / south end. Not an issue for us; we enjoy cruising. The home is extremely close and convenient to the public boat ramp. The only thing I wish we had known was how steep lake access is. The dock is quite a haul from the house. We made it work, and we would stay here again, but be prepared for a hike when you get off the boat.

We had a large group, and this house worked great for our one week stay. The kitchen was very well equipped for preparing and serving large dinners. We really enjoyed the screened in porch as an additional eating area. We also enjoyed many swims at the dock. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable and plentiful. There was a leak in the utility room and the caretaker quickly responded and got it repaired.

Spacious with a lot of beds. The dock is in rough shape. There's a paddle boat that's very moldy.

We so enjoyed our time here!! The house is absolutely perfect for families with older children. Having the bottom floor to themselves was perfect. They had everything they needed. The main floor was great for the entire family and we spent every meal enjoying the beautiful dining table. But the sunroom was probably my favorite!! This house is great for large families. So much much to do and the lake is perfect for swimming fishing and just enjoying. What a great house and experience!!! Don’t pass up on this house just because it’s a little dated. It’s really amazing!!!!

We arrived for our daughterS wedding. The house was fabulous! Being a musician I adored the the piano. It was wonderful to have family coming and going and able to accommodate all sorts of meals and fun. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is nice inside and well kept. We do realize now that the spiders in Georgia are plentiful. This isn't a time to go to the lake. It is very low and the dock is hard to get out onto. We didn't utilize any of the water equipment because of the spiders on the dock. I cleaned the spiders from the back deck 2-3 times in 4 days, they just kept coming back. In talking to people who live in Gainesville, the spiders are just normal around the lake. They do not bite and are just normal for that area.

This property was perfect for ourselves and our family. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a large dining table that seated 10. The location was only a few miles from town and was a convenient home base for exploring NE GA towns.
