Western Wisdom is in a perfect location for accessing downtown Prescott on foot. A five minute downhill walk brings you to the south side of Whiskey Row. The property itself is a bit dated, but the location and the extremely accommodating and thoughtful host make it absolutely worth while.
Very cute duplex. Location was very good for me it was close & an easy drive to the hospital as my husband was recovering from open heart surgery. I would recommend this site to anyone visiting Prescott it is very close to historic down town. A must see for visitors.
Cozy, clean, inviting everything you need for a lovely weekend stay. Loved the location, close to downtown and courthouse where the Marathon took place. Loved the Halloween decorated houses. Thank you for everything, we will be calling again.
close to downtown lots of activities
We left the heat of the Arizona desert behind and escaped to the higher altitude of Prescott. Working from our relocated home was seamless, and the location was great. We were able to hike, take walks, kayak and shop downtown. The location was beautiful and the facility was very welcoming. This was our first time staying in a home so we weren't quite sure what to expect. But we will be repeating this. The Property Manager was also very helpful in suggesting local restaurants and in answering all of our questions.
I had a great stay with my family. It was easy to find and had everything I needed! Greatly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay. Too short of time. The property manager Kristine was acceptional. I was very impressed that when we locked ourself out she was easy to get hold of and on it right away. Give her A+ on communication. The only thing I would mention is to move the head of the bed away from window. Cold air kept coming in on my head at night. Lol. All in all we had a great stay and will book it again. It is now air conditioned which is a big plus.
We were grateful for a simple little place that met our needs for our stay. Clearly the owner had put in a lot of work to make the place nice with new flooring and other touches. The back side entrance was a little tough with all the stuff we had to move in and out but overall we were happy with it. Thanks!
The location of this rental is great for walking downtown. Beds are comfy enough, living room was nice but not a lot of sitting space.I apparently booked property B however I thought I booked property A. I was frustrated by that and told them so but reconize I could have made the error easily. Do I dropped it. My biggest issue was the misleading amenity of air conditioning. I lived in NorthernArizona for 5 years. I know summer without air even though the evenings can be cool, homes often are not. This is why I searched for a VRBO with air conditioning. This property came up as having air. Well that's true as they did have one window air conditioning/swamp cooler for the front living room area but no where else. There is no circulation of cool air. The bedrooms had to be 80 degrees or more, it was miserable. The ceiling fans could have helped however all of them were squeaking and rattling; the higher the speed of the fan, the worse the nose got. Tried opening the windows, no window screen in the first bedroom. I opened it just a little and tons of bugs came in. That was not pleasant for my children and we had to close the window. The second room was the warmest. That window could only be opened a small as amount. We were all so miserably hot I left to see if I could purchase a fan at about 11:30 p.m. I could not as everything was closed. It was not a pleasant night's sleep. I used doordash to order a fan from bed bath & beyond but it couldn't be delivered until noon the next day. I used the contact number I had got in touch with what seemed to be an answering services of sorts, she then told me the PMI employee would contact me. We never spoke only text. When I inquired about a solution for the heat I was told by Sarah, PMI employee, that she would have fans brought. Apparently the fans were dropped off Saturday afternoon but I wasn't notified. I had to text Sarah later that evening again and ask. The fans were not put together, brand new in boxes. She stated that the doorbell was rung but no one answered. This can't be true because I was there with our dog. We never left our dog alone during our stay. I'm positive no one knock to tell us the fans were dropped off. Why wouldn't you call or text to notify the renter? I declined her offer of coming back to put the fans together. It was around 8pm and we were tired. It took me over an hour to put them together. Also, massive hidden fees that ended up costing more than the cost of the 2 night stay.
It was a nice place to stay and right in the heart of downtown
Quaint accommodations conveniently located walking distance to Whiskey Row.
