We got lucky when we found this great property available on short notice for a long weekend stay. This is not just another Ptown rental but a unique, historic property with old world Ptown ambience preserved along with well chosen updates to kitchen, bath and outdoor spaces to combine the best of old and new. Clean and wonderfully stocked kitchen by folks who obviously actually cook and care about doing it well. Charming bedrooms with original built-ins and books everywhere. Beautifully redone bath with large walk in shower. Large outdoor deck with outdoor table for four and sweet yard with actual green grass, many lovely flowers plus birds and bunnies. Fantastic living/dining space with beautiful original wood paneling and more built in bookshelves filled with the books. Yes wood paneling can be beautiful and anyone who has any nostalgia at all for the days of old Cape Cod houses full of gorgeous woodwork will appreciate this space. Dining space comfortably seats 8. Finally, location is an easy brief walk to town - seconds from Liz’s Cafe (one of the best breakfast places in town), minutes from Victors or the Boatslip, a 4 minute drive to Stop n Shop. The hosts are super available, helpful and friendly. We hope to find another opportunity to stay here again.
Myself and five close friends stayed at Peter's house for a week and it was everything we could have asked for. We've been coming to Provincetown for years, but this lovely house is the best place we have stayed by far. The deck is great for work, hanging out, or having dinner and the outdoor shower is perfect when you've returned from the short bike ride to Herring Cove or Race Point Beach. The house itself is very well appointed with bicycles for use, all the core items for your cooking needs, and such charming decor (with a surprisingly extensive mystery novel selection). You are located close enough to everything for easy walk / bike but in a very calm and quaint neighborhood with super friendly neighbors. Lastly, Peter was such a thoughtful and attentive host, from a welcome basket that was much appreciated after the long drive to responsive messaging for any and all questions we had. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and can't wait to return!
We had a wonderful week in this comfortable and centrally located house with responsive owners. We especially enjoyed the kitchen, grill, and outdoor shower.
Peter was extremely welcoming into his charming PTown home. They provided a very detailed guide with instructions for access to the house, as well tips for their home amenities and nearby sights. Additionally, they were always available when needed via text or call. The house is centrally located (just minutes from Liz’s and the Boat Slip) so it was very easy for our group of 5 and our pups to get around. Whether it was needing an umbrella for going to a nearby restaurant for the night, bikes to go around town or to the beach, or staying in grilling on the patio, the house had everything we needed for the week and more. Would love to visit their home again. Thank you!
