Additional Information:
You can walk to Duck Pond! It's a 7-minute (or 12-minute) walk through Cape Cod National Seashore, depending on the path you take. Duck Pond is a locals' favorite, less known to tourists and less crowded than other, larger kettle ponds.

If you are headed to ocean-side beaches (Cahoon Hollow, White Crest) or other kettle ponds (Great Pond, Gull's Pond), you will get there in 5-10 min via side roads, avoiding Route 6 traffic!

Wellfleet Center and Wellfleet Harbor are a short (5-10 min) drive away.

Very nice quiet street. Just far enough off Route 6 so we did not hear traffic at all. We used shed to store our bikes. Shed was full of beach toys and chairs that we did not need to use. Very nice big deck.

The house was perfect for our group of two adults and two college-age kids. It was clean, in a nice quiet location, and everything was exactly as advertised. The host was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions. There’s a great large deck that could use some lounge chairs and better lighting at night, but we had a wonderful stay and hope to return!

We stayed at this house for a week. When we arrived, the house was immaculate. Very clean and everything laid out for us to use, from towels and beach stuff, to picnic supplies and the grill. We loved walking to the Duck Pond. This is a true hidden gem, much more beautiful than we imagined. The town of Wellfleet is an easy bike/car ride away. So are the beaches and Great Pond. Couldn't have asked for an easier home. Great for my girlfriend and I and our three sons. Cant recommend enough!

We stayed at this house a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed the stay. The house was as described and check in was easy as was check out. The house was particularly well supplied with cooking gear and oils, spices, etc, even plenty of laundry detergent and hand soap, plus linens. Although not that big, the house was laid out well to eat or sit in the family rooms. Although this was all disclosed and hardly unusual for the cape, the bedrooms other than the master aren’t air conditioned and this was a particularly hot week. No one to blame, but if you are going in July or August and can’t tolerate a warm bedroom it is something to think about. Also, while the house is close to Duck pond and the rail trail, it is actually next to a fully finished/paved section, so you have to bridge a mile, to get to easy bike riding. But once you do, you can keep on biking for miles and miles. The house is a bit off the highway and about a mile and a half from nearest stores/restaurants which makes it quiet, but if you want in town, close walking distance to everything, this isn’t it. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.
