Stayed Aug 3, 2025We enjoyed the feeling of being up in the treetops; the decks are spacious & great for listening to the myriad voices of birds. The location of the tv was inconvenient so we didn’t watch it at all, so we spent more time outside and with each other. The WiFi is not strong; it would drop out occasionally. It is aptly named an upside down house.

Stayed Jul 31, 2022We had a great family vacation here. The house was plenty big enough for 6 and then a few overnight guests. House is comfortable. I didn’t read the lease and there were no sheets or towels so that was a pain but my fault.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our first summer vacation on the Cape. So glad we chose this house! We were able to bike to a bay side beach, which was one of our favorites. We created some delicious meals and watched the meteor shower from the great deck! Karen was always available to answer any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We've enjoyed our 3 years in this lovely, family home and look forward to summer '10. The house is private yet convenient to town, and both bay and ocean beaches. There are lots of distractions for children on rainy days - ping pong, games, movies, puzzles. The kitchen has everything needed (including a new nonstick pan!) and it truly feels like you are in the Treetops. I really like the Sunday-Sunday rental term since this provides an opportunity to enjoy a Saturday night out as well as avoid the heavier Saturday traffic. The owners are flexible and accommodating. We've been renting on the Cape for 10 years and feel fortunate to have found the ideal spot for our annual vacation.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house made our family of 6 feel at home. It had everything that four kids could ask for. Very spacious home with large open decks. The three bedrooms had plenty of room. Very nice outdoor shower. Kids loved that there was guitar hero and a play station. All kinds of great kid games. Our kids really enjoyed charades for kids! With all the windows there is plenty of sun light and there is a very nice breeze on the deck from being up so high. The deck has a great eating area for outside dinning. The kitchen had everything we needed for pots, pans, dishware, silverware, utensils, blenders.... we were very surprised on how well equipped it was. Most beaches from this home are a 10 minute or less drive. Wellfleet is a very nice town. The market there is very high priced and if you get the chance to go to stop & shop get as much as possible so you won't have to spend so much at the local market! The owners of this home gave us plenty of great tips on the area including restaurants, walks, beaches, ponds ext. and were very helpful with any questions we had. I would recommend this home to any one and will defiantly go back. But I would really like to keep it our own little secret instead!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The description of this house as in the tree tops is accurate, and there are indeed lovely breezes that pervade. We had a rain storm one day, and the over hanging roof line prevented any rain from coming into the house, which was great. The location was further from town than we expected- it's not really an easy walk. House is spacious with room enough for 6 adults to co-exist comfortably. Kitchen is nicely equipped although a new non-stick fry pan would be a good addition. Plenty of plastic ware and cups. The furniture is fairly old, worn and yet pretty comfortable. Beds are acceptable for comfort but the mattress pads and pillow are in sad shape. Actually the pillows were pretty gross, and we ended up having our guests bring their own. Hard to understand why owners can't provide clean bedding. Old quilts and throw pillows also pretty worn out and dirty. Outdoor shower was a plus, and the decks are spacious and clean. Overall the house suited us well, but I would not rent again unless there were some updates as mentioned above.
