We’ve stayed in a lot of short term rentals and this property was by far one of the nicest! Beautiful remodel of an older home that is close to everything. Very well appointed. Great for our family of seven. Our only hesitation in making this our “Spot” when we visit home is the train traffic. In fairness, we knew there would be trains, but just didn’t expect the frequency or their horns as they approach the crossing at the top of the street. You don’t know ‘til you know!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean, comfortable, and decorated so nicely.
The Spot is exactly as described in the listing. It’s a comfortable, spacious, well stocked home. There is a lot of attention put into the little details. The house is located in a nice neighborhood with two great restaurants at the end of the block. The master bathroom is particularly wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at the house for our son’s graduation. It was a perfect location close to the UK campus and Rupp Arena. The house is beautifully decorated. We loved the photo wall for graduation pictures.
We loved the stay here, it was very clean and perfect for our family of 8!
This house was spacious enough for our family vacation. It was well equipped and very well decorated. Beds are also so very comfy! It's walking distance to a few restaurants and bakery. Aside from the train running behind the house, neighborhood is pretty quiet. I do have to mention that the train noise level is very high during the night. During our stay, it ran between 3-5 times during the night. If you're a light sleeper, reconsider booking this house. We also had a few dirty pans in the cabinets that cleaning crew missed. The kids really enjoyed feeding the fish and playing with the pine cones in the front yard.
Perfect house and location for a fun bachelorette trip! Between going downtown, out to eat, or going to Keeneland everything was within 15 mins of each other which made for an easy going weekend. Everyone really enjoyed their time at this house! And we all loved how adorably cute it was too!
There were eight adults meeting for our annual cousin's trip. We wanted to see Lexington and the horse country. The house was centrally located to the places we visited. We enjoyed our walk down the street to the pub and grill where we met some of the neighbors from the area. The house was exactly as described and large enough for our group. It is a beautiful, remodeled home and was very clean. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard and the fishpond was a nice calming feature. The train is in the backyard and does go by very frequently. It will add to the memories from our trip to Lexington. Jen was very helpful when we contacted her before and during the trip.
The home was very clean, beds fantastic and beautifully renovated. The train that ran several times during the night was awful. The neighborhood was questionable.
We loved this house! It was perfect for our bourbon tasting trip. Jen was easy to reach when I was asking for a few coffee and restaurant recommendations. We ended up just walking to the restaurants at the end of the street both nights and enjoyed them both. The backyard was very relaxing with the koi pond. We will be back!
