Stayed Jun 28, 2025Very comfortable and well equipped. Could do with a large sun umbrella for the garden table. For the price charged maybe a tv could be included.

Stayed Sep 23, 2024We spent two great days. We walked down to the port for oysters and lunch. We drove to Pointe groien for a walk to the point. The accommodations were excellent and our hosts were a delight. The space is so comfortable and well equipped. We sat in the garden in the evening for a glass of bubbly. I would definitely return and recommend

Stayed Jun 25, 2022We highly recommend this apartment. It’s modern, spacious, tastefully decorated and in a beautiful setting. The garden (back yard) is amazing. It was one of the best apartments we’ve ever rented - it made for an excellent experience in Brittany. We enjoyed being able to easily walk into town to explore and dine. There are great trails along the water with beautiful views. Cancale is a quiet, charming little town that feels off the beaten path and this apartment added to that experience. This is a place we hope to visit again and stay for a long while.

Stayed Aug 15, 2019We loved our time at this rental and wished that we had stayed longer. The apartment is spacious and very cute, with an adorable outside garden to read in or enjoy a coffee. The apartment was incredibly clean and the kitchen well equipped for our needs. It is very close to the centre of town, where there are many delightful little shops. As luck would have it, we arrived on a Thursday when the summer market fills the streets around the centre of town. We picked up some olives, salted caramel, apple cider and a few other goodies to enjoy during our stay at the market. Catherine was a perfect host. We will definitely be recommending this apartment as well as Cancale to other friends considering exploring this part of Brittany.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969As a family with two children we spent a wonderful week in Le clos des Rimains. The house itself is very bright and friendly, and very tastefully furnished. The kitchen utensils and crockery are more than you can ever use, and everything is spotlessly clean. From the upstairs room, you have a pretty view over the rooftops to the sea. It is beautiful to sit outside in the lovely garden. We also fell in love with Cancale, it is a pretty, quiet place with a lot of charme and authenticity. The food market on Sunday, just a small walk from the house, is fantastic, as are the restaurants and cafés of the town. Nearby there are numerous sandy beaches in large and small bays, all within a few minutes drive. We also liked to walk down the street to the wild, rocky beach nearby in order to swim again in the evening. You can also use the jetty to get into the water. One only has to consider the tides, as the beaches change a lot as a result! The owners Cathy and Henri live next door and have taken care very lovingly, were incredibly helpful and attentive and also fond of children. They gave us some unforgettable moments of our holiday! Surely we will come back, we felt very welcome and comfortable here and had a splendid time!

Stayed Jul 6, 2018This is a fantastic rental with wonderful hosts. The rental is a very tasteful fully self-contained addition attached to the owner's large stone house (which Cathy told me dates from the 1850's). There is a beautiful yard and garden all enclosed within stone fences. The place is very up-to-date and spotlessly clean. As a couple with two kids, there was plenty of room with a master bedroom and second bedroom with two single beds. It is a 4-5 minute walk to the town square with Carrefour grocery store, bakeries, cafes, and shops. The Cancale port is about a 1 KM walk down a path along the water or down one of the main streets. The quiet beach we went to is Plage de la saussaye, which is a 7 or 8 minute drive. St. Malo is less than 30 minutes away by car and Mt. St. Michel about 45 minutes along the coast. Cathy and her husband are very warm and accommodating hosts. We arrived later than expected on a Friday night and were warmly welcomed and they provided all sorts of information about the area. Our only regret is that we stayed for only 3 nights; we hope to return in a couple of years to stay again. (Merci Cathy!!!!)
