Waverley Cottage at Bundara Farm

I loved the property. Very clean and tidy. The horses were also very friendly. I made sure that everything was covered up so that the dogs did not leave their scent. Although they are very clean

Waverly Cottage is a beautiful and amazingly peaceful location just minutes away from Berry.The cottage is so quaint and stylishly decorated.It felt cosy and private with all the amenities you need.Our host was very friendly and informative.I would recommend Waverly Cottage for a perfect long weekend or holiday.

Thank you Jane and Mark for the welcome note and bar of chocolates on the dining table. We were delighted by the fresh garden roses, hydrangeas, mint and leafy greens in various rooms - great touch!At check-in we were a little confused because the email received the day before mentioned Bellevue cottage. Easy fix we drove a little further down and found the cottage we booked.We enjoyed a quiet stay at the Waverley cottage. A relaxing atmosphere to unwind as a family, play games (brang them e.g. bananagrams, uno) and relaxed with a book (books also available around the cottage). Otherwise, it’s conveniently located, a quick drive into Berry town centre or Seven Mile beach. Jane recommended Shaolhaven Heads where dogs are allowed on or off leash - thank you. Our girls are young so on our 2nd day we visited Callala Bay beach which is great for young families and dog friendly.We made breakfast daily in the cottage with essential cookware, utensils, crockery, mugs and glasses provided. Other times we ate out for lunch and had takeaways for dinner. Easys and Queen St Cafe were our favourites. Our girls were a little disappointed we didn’t see the miniature cows or interact with the mini horses. Separately, listing needs to be updated as there’s no hot tub which we didn’t mind but had packed a separate swim suit for that so a little disappointed.All in all it was a lovely stay.

We loved staying at Waverley Cottage, such a great location just outside Berry and close to the beach. Jane was a wonderful host, making our stay memorable. Our 4yo had a ball feeding the animals, watching the wildlife and stargazing.

Waverly cottage on Bundara Farm is a little gem tucked into the hills only minutes from Berry and a 5-10 minute drive from some of the most beautiful coastline anywhere in the world. We found the cottage to be well maintained and clean. The only issue for us was that the outdoor patio was not clean enough for us to enjoy sitting outside. Bird droppings on the pavers and chairs. I would have happily hosed the area but there was no hose that i could find.
