Waterview Cottage 12 miles to Acadia National Park

Awesome home! Well stocked with everything to feel at home. We didn’t bring a thing with us and didn’t need to. Easy access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Much better than staying in an expensive hotel! This place had everything you would need to feel at home. We even enjoyed a great fire using the fire pit. Well worth it!

The pictures honestly didn’t do this property justice. What a spot! There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for us and our friends. The tri level was unique (not for those with mobility issues). Since we’ve never stayed in Ellsworth, it was fun to explore a new area. Provender, Union River Lobster, and Riverside were our favorite restaurants.The house had a well stocked kitchen (although a tea kettle would be nice). Having a washer and dryer was great.The only noise we heard were roosters but only when sitting outside. What a peaceful spot!The house was immaculate and so easy to clean when leaving!Even though we have vacationed in the area for years, having an information binder was great. Detailed instructions were great when checking in and out.Although we visited with friends, this is also a great rental for a family too.Our friends did report the downstairs mattress was extremely hard.Overall, we would highly recommend this property. Susan, the property manager, was great. She checked in with us and was quick to respond!Thanks for an amazing stay!

Property was amazing. It is located in a central area, which makes it easy to access all parts of the beautiful Acadia area. It was well stocked and very clean. We will definitely be back.

From the moment we booked our home until our last moment of our stay everything was perfect. Our home was just as described and close to every place we wanted to be. Our manager was so thorough and answered every question quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay and communication with the host was prompt and helpful. The location is nice and quiet and not too far from Ellsworth. Unfortunately it is a fairly busy road with no shoulder so there’s no easy way to walk or anywhere from the house. I’d definitely recommend this place for exploring the Ellsworth and Mt. Desert Island area.

The property was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the open design plan. Perfect place for three boys and my husband. We absolutely loved looking out to the bay. So much to do within a close distance. Will definitely book again! Thank you for sharing your property. Warm regards, Julie and Family

Family of 4 stayed 5 nights. Kids lived that there were games available in the house and we played every night. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Easy access to Acadia and anywhere else you want to be.

Very clean and tidy property! The location is private with a nice view and about a 35 minute drive to the Hull’s Cove Visitor Center at Acadia. The deck outside is a good spot to sit and relax. The kitchen is one of the best equipped for a VRBO that we’ve ever stayed in. The living room is cozy with lots of seating and a big TV. Internet was great so we were able to stream our own TV service. We had a great time!

The home was not on the water but since it is up on a hill, the elevation provided a wonderful water view over / past the homes across the street. The home was well equipped with all of the normal kitchen gadgetry so home cooking was not a problem. It's a perfect size for two couples or 5 people.
