Watermark Lake House

The Watermark Lake House was a perfect getaway for our friends and family vacation. The house was laid out perfectly, with ensuite rooms upstairs for the adults, while the teenage kids had the downstairs, complete with mini kitchen, bunk beds, TV and a pool table. We could gather in the main room when we wanted to, but have complete separation too. The dock was a short walk away, and the marina to launch the boat about 15 minute drive. The lake itself is gorgeous and peaceful, with plenty of room for wakesurfing and jet skiing. One of the best parts of the house was the spacious covered deck, where you can enjoy the sounds of nature as you drink your morning coffee. The hosts designed and furnished the home with their guests comfort in mind. And they were only a text or phone call away when we needed any assistance. A wonderful place, and we can't wait to stay here again.

We were looking for a venue to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children ages 12 and 3. We also were looking for a location with options to keep the children happy and occupied rain or shine ….this beautiful home was perfect. The 12 year old had his space and his little sister loved her “upstairs suite”. The home was upscale and exactly as indicated; check-in, was without issue and easy. The house, kitchen, bath towels,etc and amenities rival a 5 star hotel, condo or Destination Club. The view from the upper deck was spectacular… The use of the kayaks was a great way to entertain both the adults and children. The only “watch out” is reflected in the owners write up… The driveway is steep and probably not best/easy for any non SUV 4 wheel /all wheel drive vehicle. We have rented many homes from VRBO and this one is probably the best at matching the write up. The view over delivered.. The weekend was a great success.

Everyone in our families (10 people, 3 generations) enjoyed our week there. From the minute we walked in the door, we were very impressed with the house. Pictures do not do it justice. There was plenty of space for all of us, and we appreciated the effort that went into the quality furnishings and finishes, as well as the style and beautiful decor. The extra touches were nice too, like hand soap in all the bathrooms, and many staples in the kitchen to get started with. It rained a good bit while we were there, but that gave us lots of opportunities for reading, napping, and playing games, all of which the house was comfortable for. Thanks to the covered area of the deck, we were even still able to be outside at times during the rain. Then we made the most of the periods between storms, to soak up the sun on the lake, with floating, kayaking, and swimming. The only thing missing was some dock furniture, but since this home is new, I'm sure that will be added. We would definitely recommend this home.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay for the weekend at Lake Norris. Will be back forsure!
