Waterfront Retreat w/ Hot Tub in Gun Barrel City!

Great stay

Everything was great. It rained alot so we didnt get to use the fire pit. Hot tub was big and warm on the cool nights. Plenty of beds and bedding for everyone. We didnt watch tv once because we were tired from shopping all day. We enjoyed the game room. Pool table worked for what we needed it to. Video games worked. Would like to stay again in the summer. Would recommend.

The house was gorgeous. Lots of space. We enjoyed the hot tub after walking around trade days. The chairs around the fire pit were perfect for drinking coffee in the morning and watching the ducks. We had a lovey weekend. Shelby was very courteous and responsive.

Lake view was great! The house was not. The home was dirty. We had to put clean sheets on the beds. There were dirty dishes and towels left. One clean towel per bathroom. AC does not cool main bedroom. Shower had hair & dirt from previous renters. Garbage disposal was clogged and sunk the whole house up.

Beautiful and cozy house nestled in a pretty quiet cove of the lake. We had a ladies weekend getaway and loved our stay! It is the great outdoors, so expect bugs and insects, just come prepared with spray. The guest contacts were very attentive, accommodating, and helpful! We will certainly be back in the future. Thanks!

Great place!

There was a broken cabinet and broken toilet seat upon arrival. The kitchen towels, mats, hand towels were left in dryer so it wasn’t set up for us to use. Back room had dead bugs all over the floor so not swept before our stay. Old food was left in cabinets from previous reservation (not part of essentials). The petroleum grill was broken so we could not grill on that one. The outside TV wasn’t working.

Amazing experience here! Great spot on the lake- loved the large covered dock, larger yard and hot tub was very nice. House was lovely and spotlessly clean! We will definitely be back. Only reccomendations I could make would be to add another couch in living area for more seating and to enjoy those great lake views from inside. The TV outside wasn't working which did not hinder our enjoyment at all but it would have been nice. The pool table and cue tips needed some attention but not a big deal.

The house itself was good as far as cleanliness, nice beds and showers, the way everything looked but nothing worked. The host was super friendly and responded to messages quickly but none of our issues could’ve been resolved since most of it was just wear and tear of items. Tv was on but was unable to mirror our screens and none of the remotes worked even with new batteries we bought, we were unable to get any of the arcade games working, hot tub only got warm never hot and had old smelly water in it. Went to play pool and only one stick was usable and one of the balls had a huge chip in it, the kayaks were fun but we picked a super windy weekend and could hardly use them. We tried fishing once we ran out of things to do but didn’t catch or even see a single fish the whole trip. Overall it wasn’t a horrible experience but definitely not worth what we paid for it considering half the amenities we rented for we couldn’t use.

Everything was perfect. The place was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed fishing, the hot tub and the game room. We will be back soon.

When we arrived, the place was not cleaned from the previous stay. On top of that, the main reason we booked the place was for the hot tub. The cleaning company said they would try to help us out but nothing was done. If you are staying for the hot tub, I would be careful.
