The property was even more beautiful than we had anticipated! The interior was nicely furnished and the view truly made the place feel so special. We wanted to watch the birds for hours! The road leading to the house is quiet but it isn’t too far to the main road so it’s not difficult to get out to explore the area. The surrounding area is all very pretty and quiet.

Gorgeous location! Secluded quiet property. Impressive massive deck with the most incredible views of the bay. Host had laid out wood in fire pit on the deck for us. All the comforts of home with personal touches throughout.

Incredible location and tranquil place to stay just as the listing says, with great views of the lake and access to a private dock on the lake. Beautifully furnished, and great for our annual family trip with the grandkids. We had relatively easy access to Ithaca and so many parks, wineries, etc. The hosts were responsive to our needs.

This house was absolutely as advertised, secluded perch high over east shore of Cayuga. Base here for FLX wine exploration maybe not as good as Seneca (if that is your thing), but the access to water and the peaceful nature of well-appointed lake house was well worth it. Greg was very patient and communicated well.

Lovely home in a private location. Everything was just as described. There is a trail and long stairway to get to the private dock with kayaks. The lake bottom is rocky, so water shoes are really helpful! The 5 min climb up from/down to the dock requires some fitness. You can also drive which takes about 15 min. Owners were very responsive and helpful! Would happily stay here again!

House was beautiful. Wonderful view of lake. Private cabana on lake. Perfect for a group of 3 couples. Host was very accessible for questions and needs. Lots to do in surrounding area. We all had a great time.

Secluded, comfortable home in the woods overlooking the lake. Balcony off master bedroom is great place to enjoy morning coffee. Main level deck has plenty of comfy seats, a chaise and a hammock, and lower level deck provides shaded space and a wonderful swinging bench. Great indoor spaces and kitchen. 86 steps down to private lakeside dock may be challenging for some. Host was responsive and kind. All in all, a very nice place to connect with family.

Our family of 5 (kids 9,12 and MIL) stayed for 3 nights. The owner was very responsive, the house was well stocked with towels, the beds were SO comfortable- but best if all was the beautiful view and serene location. An amazing bonus was the lake-side dock and cabana house where we all had a great time using the two kayaks and the floats in the lake. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The property was exactly what we were looking for. The gorgeous 2-tier deck overlooked Cayuga Lake and was amazing for relaxing on and enjoying our morning coffee. Fully stocked kitchen allowed us to make our own meals and not have to leave the property to find restaurants. The separate lower level with two bedrooms provided ample space for people to spread out and get some quiet time if needed. Host was responsive with answering questions throughout the stay. To access the waterfront cabana there is a short hike through the woods and then a staircase with 86-steps. Easy to get down to, but definitely more challenging to get back up to the house. It is driving accessible, but that takes roughly 10 minutes one way. So we ended up staying up at the main house for the entirety of our stay. Overall, would definitely stay at the property again without hesitation!!
