Great property with an awesome view. A few things could be better mentioned, it is a lower of a duplex, no one was upstairs when we were there so no factor. You cannot reach the beach as you are basically on a cliff 30-40 ft drop, but still a nice view. Some reviews picked on the remodel...sure things could have been done better, but for a rental very nice, a few quirks with switches but nothing major. Would like a pizza pan and cutter : ) Served our purpose and we would stay again! Very secure neighbor hood and in a gated area. It is very hard to find at night....some better notes on this would be good, especially for your first visit. thanks! Michael
We went their for a weekend and we really enjoyed our stay.
Very tranquil stay. Had everything we needed. The grill was a nice amenity.
The house was clean. Kitchen was great. The view was amazing. What wasn't great was the constant jets going over the property as well as the neighbors dog barking at us whenever we would go on the deck.
We checked out a day early because this was not a comfortable home for our vacation! This home was not as advertised and far from a premium vacation rental experience. The photos are obviously a bit older (eg, the brown deck on the photo does not match the deck with white peeling paint) and the house is in need of a renovation and redesign because it does not function well at all. I also suspect that it might not pass code based on some electrical quirks. The user experience was suboptimal - starting with problems from even finding the house (email instructions have to be very carefully read - it might help to send pictures to help your guests find the driveway), kitchen equipped with what appears are scraped together pieces resulting in a hodgepodge of plates, bowls, cutlery, towel holders falling off bathroom walls (this seems to be a longer term issue given the holes all over the bathroom walls), non-GFI outlet in the bathroom, plugs falling out of outlets in the bedroom, quirky bathroom vanity lighting via a plug in lightbulb with the lightswitches not working, deck paint peeling off badly, kitchen blinds broken and hanging down, weather stripping hanging off the door to the deck, and the bathroom vanity drawer doesn't quite shut. It made me feel bad that somebody obviously spent money to renovate this house in recent years but did such a sloppy job of it - superficially it's not bad looking and modern but this house needs help to get up to the advertised standard.
Had a great stay with great views. The place was as described and met our needs for the trip. Would recommend to others.
Loved the view and the modern look of the apartment. The driveway is tricky and we had some issues with the WiFi that were quickly resolved. It was relatively quiet once you get used to the jets overhead. We didn't use the kitchen much but it looked like it had everything. We had to search for the towels for the bathroom because they had been left in the dryer but they were nice, fluffy towels. If you need a market for essentials it is a 5min drive to Safeway. Convenient.
Nice view on a great deck! A couple of things would have made it 5 Star … first of all, the cleaning lady did a great job, but didn’t finish until 6 pm (check in was 4 pm and we arrived at 4:15) - awkward! Seattle was in a little of a “heat wave” and a fan in each bedroom would have been a godsend since there’s no AC. There were a few minor maintenance issues - doable, but not stellar. Last, but not least, we had no idea that the house would be directly in the flight path of SEA-TEC… heard planes leaving (loudly cuz we had to have windows open) until midnight and again starting at 6 am. On to upside, we still enjoyed our stay!
Very beautiful area. you can sit on the balcony and watch the lake for days, an amazing view, and a perfect place; near the house, you can find Safeway, and Starbucks. House was clean, and it has all the Basic needs for cooking. 2 negative points, were not enough dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent.
The guest bed was broken and friends had to prop it up. Good thing he's handy. WiFi was not working , we had plan to do a some work in the morninings before we ventured out. We were taextign fro a while and i was asked to go upstiars and re-boot the router. Ummm upstairs is another unit, we could not access. House needs a little TLC, fireplace should have a screen. Overall it was a beutiful view and the weather was on side that week. I woudl recomend but highlight the draw backs.
The view and ambiance was phenomenal. Kitchen was well equipped except for tiny coffee pot and Foldgers. Bed was hard and could have used a topper. But overall we would stay here again.
