Great location

An absolutely incredible space that looks even more beautiful than the photos. Kitchens are so well equipped, space was clean, and couches were so comfy. The sauna was a real highlight for us all. Truly the perfect spot to relax. It’s so quiet, and the rain on the skylight was the best background. We saw many bald eagles and deer which felt magical. Thank you Josie!!!

This property worked fabulously for our family of 6. The 3 levels made it feel like we could all be together but also have space when needed. The views were exceptional, and the nightly visits of the deer and bunny were a joy.

This house is great for large family groups, with multiple floors, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens. We mostly gathered on the main floor but it was nice to be able to spread out, too. The house has a beautiful view of Sooke Basin, and deer stroll through the yard frequently. The host is very responsive to questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

A perfect setting for a family reunion of 8 and big celebrations. With active grandkids, it was great to have all of the food prep and serving items we needed in the 3 ful kitchens. Josie is always available and easy to communicate with if we had questions. WiFi was easily accessible. Plenty of parking for our 2 vehicles.

Amazing property! Awesome views, very quiet, and relaxing. We saw eagles, otters, and many other birds. Deer frequent the property. Would definitely stay again. Owner was very responsive.

There were 12 family members on our trip. The home more than met our expectations. The views from all three decks were beautiful! The home was spotless and there was plenty of space for all of us. We absolutely loved staying there!

Josie was great at communicating. We loved our stay at this clean, bright, roomy vacation house with a beautiful view of Sooke Basin. It is close to hikes and the beach with services fairly nearby.

Lovely home! an incredible house with 3 levels (each one could be it's own individual unit) so there is lots of room for a large group, if needed. Sauna was great, host was responsive and helpful!

We stayed for 3 nights and Josie had everything we could ever need. The house was spacious and beautifully set up. While we shared the kitchen on the main floor I could see the benefit of having multiple kitchens. The view was amazing and a quiet oasis with deer grazing within clear view of the windows. Josie was helpful, attenttive to any questions and set the house up perfectly. A beautiful, clean and spacious home which worked as a wonderful home base close to Sooke but could have spent our days in the house as it was so comfortable. We had an elderly family member with us and the house was perfect as they could easily stay on the main floor and have access to all they needed. Highly recommend.

Such wonderful communication and care from Josephine! The property and home is spectacular and spotless. It was the perfect spot for our group of eight and we hope to return! Beautiful views and all the comforts of home, including the thoughtful addition of robes in each bedroom.

We came here for a week long vacation filled with days hanging out at this lovely cottage. My entire family enjoyed their stay with tons of space, games, sauna, and stunning views of the water. We loved it and would stay here again!

This property was beautiful! The views were spectacular overlooking the water and mountains. The hostess communicated swiftly and helped resolve my VRBO system issues. The house had all the necessities, was clean, and spacious for our large family get together. The town takes time to get to so load up on supplies before you go if you don’t want to drive but great trails nearby and no traffic! Josie provided the best property for a summer retreat.
