We loved it. As advertised and the owner Gary is happy to do whatever it takes to make your stay enjoyable.
I rented this cabin for a big group of my friends this last weekend to celebrate labor day, we had about 25-30 people come by and everyone had a blast. Everyone was very impressed with how nice the houses were with plenty of room for people to sleep and socialize and the grill and hot tub area was a big hit with everyone there. The landscaping and the grounds were kept in amazing condition, and we could not have had a better view of the lake from the deck of the main house. Mr. Kroll and his staff were more than accommodating and very friendly. The weekend was a big success and we will definitely be back again next summer. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Grande Lake!
We have used Gary's property for our family reunion for three years. Everyone loves the time we spend there! Each year brings new improvements to the property. The swim deck is a great place for the family to spend the day in the sun. It has a water trampoline and a dive platform was added this year. Two boat slips are available alone with two ramps for PWCs. Typically plenty of room in the spacious buildings. The biggest disadvantage being one floor has five rooms that has to share one common bathroom. I understand Gary has plans to correct this with a remodel by next year. I highly recommend either of Gary's Grand Lake properties!
Dream Catcher Point was a home run for our family gathering. Ages 13-82....we all had a blast. We plan to go back.
The perfect Corporate retreat for our group of 14. The property provided an excellent meeting space with the large open living area with stunning views. When the work was complete, there was plenty to do or simply sit on the deck to unwind and absorb much needed R&R. The property owner even stopped by to make sure the stay met all expectations and see if we needed anything else. We are already looking forward to returning next year.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back in the near future. The amenities and accommodations are unmatched. The fishing was great an the scenery was stunning.
We just completed a family and friends get together with over 40 people. We used both The Point and The Grand properties. We cannot thank Gary and the entire staff for making this such a memorable event. The properties are truly something special for a lake vacation.
Our family reunion was so wonderful there, we have stayed there in the past and are plannin another trip next year!!!!!! Gary and Cecie are wonderful, the people that maintain the property are so friendly!!! GREAT PLACE BEAUTIFUL HOMES!!!!! Karla from Tuttle
Beautiful views from every deck overlooking the water. The kids loved the water trampoline and mat. Plenty of room to relax and visit with each other without bumping into one another. We will be back!
We had 32 people ranging in age from 3 months to 88 years who spent a week at Dream Catcher Point. It was perfect! There were enough beds for everyone. The grounds are kept immaculate by Ismeal and his sister (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name). The view from multiple decks on the 2 houses were beautiful. You can tell that the owner Gary Kroll puts a lot of emphasis on the beauty of the grounds here. I think we counted 7 different water features. He also made sure to have the Chicago Cubs World Series flags flying high!! GoCubsGo #W! Well played Gary! The dock provided lots of fun between the huge trampoline, jump off ladder, kayaks, and pontoon boat. The deck at ground level had 2 grills and enough seating for all to eat dinner together every night. Ceci who handles the reservations couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Everyone agreed that this place was one of their favorites since we started doing reunions in 1993. Depending on how large our family gets in 2 years...we have this place on our go to list!! Thank you Gary, Ceci, Ismeal and sister!! :) Our week was wonderful!!
