Our "early 1900's built" lake house features both traditional Lake living in the main house and a modern rustic feel in the new Seasonal Guest House. The property consists of a rare 3 acres of flat land and over 165 ft of lakefront shore, with an abundance of parking and space for gatherings, including a waterfront field. The main home is equipped with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms, capable of sleeping six. The house also holds two living rooms, plenty of tables for family meals, and a spacious kitchen with updated appliances.
The Seasonal Guest House or "the bunky" is a brand new addition to our property that is included with the Rental from approx April through October. This two-story open concept home serves a modern touch to lake living while also keeping the wood finish of a Post and Beam home. This house sleeps eight comfortably and has a large 3/4 bath & Queen Bed on the first floor and a Queen Bed, Two Twins & a Twin Murphy Bed on 2nd Floor Loft. This house features a kitchenette (with mini fridge and microwave), a movie theater area, and a foos ball table upstairs.
Two Tandem Kayaks included with House Rental; and a 20 Ft Pontoon Boat is Available for Renting After House Booking is completed.
Want a break from the best part of Lake Winnisquam The house is located near so many attractions being near the edge of the White Mountains such as the Ski Mountain which is the View across the Lake, many tourist attractions in the Lakes Region, restaurants and Tanger Outlets Tilton Shopping which provides plenty to do, rain or shine.

The house is much larger than it appears from the photos....and the bunk house was great for the young adults in our group and the kids.....well appointed house, with all the utensils, dishes, cookware we needed. Large frig......
We absolutely loved this house. We gathered together with our siblings, spouses, & kids for a much loved annual family vacation. The bunk house was so perfect for all the kids & the house had a lot of lake house charm & comforts of home with nice appliances & comfy beds. It was a great layout for us to all hang out together inside or out. Lots of places to explore on the property. Dock for swimming & to dock the boat we rented. Grill & fire pit were perfect for grilling & s’mores. Can’t recommend this property enough.
Loved our house on the lake. We had two of the families stay in the cottage. Not a great spot for babies because no walls for the bedrooms. House was clean and sunrise and sunset were beautiful from the porch. I would highly recommend renting the boat. It was fabulous.
Perfect vacation spot just a short drive from Boston. The property is beautiful and had everything needed to make a great family vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed this private charming Lakehouse, with a separate bunkhouse for the younger crowd that wanted to stay up a little later. We hope to be able to come back and visit again.
Really nice and relaxing time
The listing pictures do not do this beautiful home justice! It was everything anyone could want- water right at your feet, kayaks for people to venture out and tons of yard and house space for enjoyimg each other. Our group spent about 90% of the time outside or on the extra living space right off the deck. The bunk house was a hit to watch the Celtics on the projector & everyone was already asking to rebook for next year when we were saying goodbye. Scott has a beautiful home & was an absolute breeze to work with. Thank you for letting us share that space for our favorite weekend of the year.
The group so enjoyed the views from inside the sunporch and along the deck and dock. Sunrises were simply amazing, especially over coffee and biscotti's from Laconia Bakery. Great home base for day trips to Franconia Notch SP, Mt Washington, Concord and Portsmouth. Modern kitchen to take out fresh seafood and cook it up and eat in that peaceful sunporch. We recommend! Thank You!
Breathing taking views!
The house was awesome Scott is a great host we had a great golf weekend
Stayed at this house with a group of friends, and it was absolutely amazing! Besides it’s great views and extra house, it was able to accommodate all of our needs. Waking up with the view of the lake everyday is something we all enjoyed. Would consider going back again.
Perfect.
Decisions, Decisions. Breakfast on the deck under the umbrella, or in the front room with all those windows looking out on the Gunstock mountain range and the lake? That about sums it up for this vacation home. We had the older adults in the main home and the two younger families in the bunkie house. This allowed our large group of 13 to spread out. Ladder ball and cornhole games in the yard and a campfire with smores at night. Floating on tubes next to the dock and out on our pontoon boat for deeper swimming at Three Islands, fishing, and tubing (Let's not forget visiting the sandbar Lol). That was our week. The main house is not over crowded, nicely decorated and just feels...Comfortable. It has all the amenities you need. Couch and recliner seating for 11, lots of storage in the kitchen. The breakfast counter makes a great buffet table and dining room seating for 14. (not counting the outside table & chairs (10) Be sure to look thru all the cabinets to find all the cooking tools you need. Plenty of hot water. The ice bucket is a little small for 13 but the freezer is Large and holds plenty of bagged ice. The drink fridge (I suspect meant for wine) is a bonus and holds plenty of bottle water and soda keeping the kids out of the main fridge. The projector TV in the bunky house was a hit with the kids, but except for 1 night the tv's in the main house never got turned on. Bunky house with its minisplit AC unit and 3 ceiling fans kept cool nicely. Main house1st floor AC and ceiling fans did the same. But be sure to open all those screened windows for nice fresh cool evening lake air. Large dumpster to deal with your trash is a PLUS for a lake house. Washer & dryer cuts down on the amount of clothes (especially for kids). WiFi worked fine with all those adults on their devices. HINT: Bring the deck cushions in at night (or put them in their deck box) to prevent the night time dew or possible shower. We have stayed in 5 different houses over the years on Lake Winnisquam and we give this a 5/5. Many Thanks to the Drapeau Family for sharing their home.
We loved our experience at this property. Access and views of the lake were incredible and Scoot was very responsive! Great getaway for the family and some friends. Highly recommend!
Everything was beyond our hope - we enjoyed the property and the vacation. Thanks to our Hosts!
Great house on the lake. We had a wonderful time with all the water amenities!
This property was perfect for our group of friends who were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway. The property is gorgeous, with amazing views of the lake and the combination of the main house with the additional Bunky is highly recommended. Although we were not able to utilize the pontoon boat this trip, it is a great addition that I would look forward to incorporating into our next stay. In addition to the stay itself, Scott was quick to respond to any questions we had and was a great help throughout the rental process.
