Stayed Jul 18, 2025We have stayed in Matagorda for years, but this house was special. The location is great. Gorgeous sunset views. Decorated nicely and that porch is everything. We had our teenagers with us and the sleeping situation worked well. We will be back!

Stayed Jun 15, 2025I have been vacationing in Matagorda for a few years. This is the 3rd place I have rented and I will not be looking for anywhere else. The other two were nice but this one is perfect. The floorplan is thoughtfully done. The way they had spare bunks was inspired. The upstairs bunk room is perfect for the kiddos or singles. The furniture is comfortable. We had a storm that blew up the starlink. The owner was quick to let me know his plan, we got it fixed about halfway through the stay, all was perfect! TBH we didn’t miss the internet at all.An added benefit is that this place is 3rd from the end of the row!! Views forever. Sunrise over the East Bay is especially epic. Due to it’s location, you are only 5 min from the beach. Fished all night and beached all day.Seriously, I cannot recommend this place enough. Like I said, it will be my go-to from now on.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024The property was clean and had plenty of space for the guys to spread out. The pier was in good condition and the light worked. The host was very responsive for any questions we had.

Stayed May 24, 2024We had a great time. Caught several different types of fish. Released them all back to grow bigger. The only problem was the tv in the living room did not work and could not get the cold water to work in downstairs shower.
