Waterfront home with saltwater pool, pool spa, central AC, W/D, & office space

We had a great time and the house had everything we needed. Great location on the island for relaxing and enjoying the island life!

Arrived as scheduled and on time on 10/04/24. House was not ready with maintenance worker still on premises. We were scheduled to stay until 10/12/24. On 10/05/24 Hurricane Milton was declared a Category 5 and we received notice from local authorities that an evacuation was possible. Voluntary evacuation was issued early on 10/06/24 due to the hurricane en route. Marco Island was in the possible storm track. We were able to get on an overbooked red eye flight back to NY on 10/06/24 but had to drive in the driving rain and wind to Ft. Lauderdale airport. Prior to leaving the rental I contacted Vacasa who advised that our departure was up to us and there would be no consideration for our early departure due to Act of God. On 10/07/24 the evacuation was revised to MANDATORY! However Vacasa has taken the position that the hurricane missed Marco Island and we were not required but rather chose to leave and therefore no consideration in the form of a refund or credit would be issued. I have rented many properties through VRBO in the past with good experiences. I would strongly advise any future renters to avoid Vacasa properties!

We had a wonderful stay at Mr.P’s house! The smell of bleach greeted us upon our arrival and everything was spotless! There were an insane amount of pillows, towels and even toiletries available. There are so many dishes, cups and even a crockpot! I was able to cook and grill almost every night and this saved us a lot of money. Publix is less than 10min away. The cabinets are stocked with seasonings - ziploc bags, foil etc. My son was able to fish right off the pier and caught quite a few! We rented a boat that picked us up from the dock. You could spend hours sitting on the dock watching boats go by! Look for the boat with the cute ?? Do yourself a favor and pay to heat the pool! I used the pool so much and it’s a nice bonus that it’s saltwater. A pool service company came by to clean it while we were there! This house has coolers, beach chairs, beach toys pool toys - the list is never ending! We didn’t think that we would use the office, however put a puzzle together there and were able to check emails and take care of work commitments. The WiFi is fantastic and the TV’s have so many channels plus extras like Disney/Prime etc. The neighbors are friendly and chatty and a magical trash fairy comes to take it to the curb. The reason this house is not getting more reviews is probably because we all want to keep it a secret as it’s so reasonably priced and AMAZING!

Property was great. The pictures provided are spot on. The house was spacious and perfect for our needs. The location is close to to grocery stores within a mile, lots of little shops, and eating. That was definitely convenient. House was stocked with many amenities like toilet paper and paper towel. My only wish would have been additional garbage bags, and laundry detergent. They were fabric softener sheets, but no laundry detergent which we ended up having to buy on our own. Plenty of kitchen, supplies, beach towels, bath towels. You have to pay for pool heat separately, which is not super clear in the initial description of the house. The other thing is you can only heat the pool or the hot tub – not both at the same time.

We loved the location of the home, only a half mile from a beach entrance. We rented bikes and had no issues with finding a place to lock the bikes. The pool and view of the canal are perfection. The kitchen was fully stocked and the furniture was comfortable. We enjoyed our week stay with four adults and two kids! We would love to come back!

Great Location with a heated pool & spa. We loved it.
