Waterfront home with private heated pool, spa, BBQ, views & bikes

This house was perfect for our extended family get together. We all fit perfectly with 5 adults and 5 children. The pool and dock were perfect for daily swimming and fishing! Everything on the island is 10 minutes from going to the beach, boating (at Dolphin Marina) and dining a breeze. The food in Marco island is some of the best we have ever had We had the best time in this wonderful home. No need to make sure you have pool toys, plenty of towels, beach chairs, bikes fishing poles it’s all provided! The local tack shop is around the corner as well as publix. Literally everything you could need for the week is at your fingertips.

We encountered cockroaches in the kitchen, master bath, and master bedroom starting on our first full day. We immediately contacted the rental management company and they were slow to respond and delivered terrible service. In speaking to one of their reps, he told me just spit balling here, but you can try buying some bug spray. We have been coming to Marco for over 25 years and have rented over 20 properties and have never seen a single cockroach. My parents have owned multiple houses in Marco and we know that if treated correctly, you don't have issues with cockroaches. We tried to find another property to move to but were unable to as it was peak time in Marco and everything was booked. This situation caused major distress for our family and led to us having to sleep (not well) with the lights on. In addition, the listing highlights heated pool and spa as one of the main amenities, but we discovered after we checked in that you have to pay extra for this and need to provide 72 hour advance notice to turn it on. We went back to review the listing after the fact and saw that this was buried at the very bottom of the listing under a section called 'dock details'. As a result, we were unable to use the pool and spa during our winter visit, which was a huge disappointment for our kids.

Very clean and open spaces. Nice house overall

Sweet Waterfront Retreat is an absolutely beautiful home with every amenity. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more, loved the comfortable family room and most of all the pool area. It was nice having the lanai for all us of to enjoy. Bedrooms were roomy, beds and linens luxurious. The area off the kitchen was perfect for games and card playing. Also, large washer & dryer! Perfect for our family! This is our 2nd visit to this house and we will be back again.

Overall we were pleased with our stay. The home was clean and well stocked, appears to have had recent renovations. Home was stocked with all essentials needed. We would stay again. Worth noting: you have to pay an additional fee to heat the HOT TUB..

This property is a dream home, excellent to expend a great time with family and friends. Location, cleanliness, amenities, utilities, and experience in general is a 5 starts place to go. Highly recommended
