We stayed 2 nights in this well appointed, open floor plan, ranch style home. We were looking for a place that would also allow us to include our two dogs and this home was perfect! It was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely go back.

There's nothing not to love here! The house is spacious, even nicer, in fact so much nicer than the photos suggest. The living/dining room area is enormous, with high ceilings and comfortable furniture. Terrific kitchen. Views are green and lovely from every room-- in fact there's even a nice view from the master bedroom closet, which by the way is immense. This house has a beautiful yard and two minutes away there's a wonderful creek where I spent a happy hour just listening to birds and watching the water and the light. Panther Lake is stunning, and maybe a 10 minute walk. We attended a wedding on Sebago Lake, which was only about a 10-12 minute drive away, and you are close enough to get to Portland for a day out and about its many stores, restaurants and harbor spots. We were there in early fall-- but I'm sure this house is beautiful year round. One note to the owners: I'd replace one of the double beds with a queen. Otherwise there's really only one bed large enough to accommodate two regular-size adults. Beyond that, our stay was perfection itself! House is magnificent and homey at the same time. Would happily return. Especially if you get a queen size bed to replace the smaller one.

We had an amazing time staying here! Some highlights from our stay: Location: The location was perfect! It was close to Panther Run which led into Panther Pond. Waterfront proximity provided a lot of entertainment for the kids. Cleanliness: The place was spotless and well-maintained. It was clear that the hosts takes great care of the property. Comfort: The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the amenities were as described. The living area was cozy and inviting. Host Communication: Host's were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They provided clear instructions for check-in and were available to answer any questions I had. Extras: I appreciated the little touches like the guidebooks that were left of things to do around the area. We found a great mini-golf place from it. Overall Experience: I felt right at home during my stay. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the neighborhood felt safe and friendly. We will be back next year!

We made Panther Run Retreat In Raymond, Maine our home base during our daughter’s wedding weekend in July 2024. The location worked out perfectly for our events down in Windham. Plenty of kitchen stuff; very well stocked with toiletries and linens. We hosted our best friends from the UK and they were blown away by the spacious master suite! We give Panther Run Retreat an excellent rating. The house is well adapted to groups of adults, or families with kids. We had 95 F degree weather and used the AC units to get the house temp down to a nice 75 F or so. The deck was awesome. The flowers/plantings are so beautiful. The River view out back is pleasant as well. The wedding memories we created and shared with our family and friends are unforgettable. We want to thank the hosts for the special role this house in Raymond ME played in our wedding celebration.

Loved the large size of the house. The kitchen was large and well equipped with everything one would need to cook, bake and prepare meals for the family. Lots of seating inside as well as on the spacious deck. We definitely plan to return!

The home is cozy and modern with one floor living attached to a two car garage. It is on a major electrical trunk line so while others were out of power for days we were relatively unaffected. The two gas fireplaces provided great ambiance while we watched the river flow through a winter wonderland. Working remotely was great with the steady power, reliable Wi-Fi and fantastic winter views. Conveniently close to Portland yet not far from the ski mountains gave us the best of both worlds.

Wonderful house. It was spacious and comfortable, we were able to visit with family without feeling like we were on top of one another. The view of the creek from this house is phenomenal, you can hear the water on the porch. Even with neighbors so close, the trees made this house feel so secluded and private, which we really appreciated. The screened in porch was an incredibly spot to sit and sip coffee in the morning and listen to the birds and the water. The attention to detail from the owners was really incredible, from plenty of spare blankets placed around to the complementary dove shampoo/conditioner/soap, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. If this house is available next year we will absolutely be staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Panther Run River Retreat. The house was clean, comfortable and open floor plan and what we needed for a nice long weekend with our 88 year old mom. The river out back was very nice. There’s not too much around but we enjoyed exploring the area nonetheless. The only suggestions we’d make are more pans (not pots). There was only one which made it difficult to cook breakfast. The bathroom had no slip free bathmat. Minor issue but could be dangerous for elderly (or anyone). Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
