Waterfront Home on Sam Rayburn

The house was very nice, great view of the lake. (The lake is about 10' low right now - Feb. 2026) The host was good with communication and the check-in / check-out process was very easy.

Was one of the best views of the lake. Loved the large deck out front and the house was very spacious.

I’m glad to find a place for my pet. And the layout of the house was very family friendly. Also I really appreciate the large kitchen and plenty of seating both indoors and out.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! It was mostly quiet, besides some road noise from the highway right behind the house. The porch swing was the perfect spot to watch the squirrels, birds, and a rather large storm that came through. We will definitely be planning another stay here!

Nice spacious place on the water

We had a wonderful time. The views are absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that one of the beds is definitely leaning downhill like it may be broken. We just put our heads on the other end and rolled with it. Didn’t bother us at all.

This was such a great property. The front yard is fenced in and it was great for our pup. We were right on the water and enjoyed sitting on the porch in the swing. I can't say enough about this property.

Fantastic property, beautiful lake view, and great fishing! What a fantastic relaxing few days we had. Host is fantastic, and the property is turn key, all you really need is a change of clothes.You will love this place from the moment you walk in the door!

Property was just liked described and in photos. Great access to the water, even though it was too cold for us to enjoy. The view was amazing. Would definitely stay here again when back in the area.

This little cottage was perfect for my husband our two year old and our nephew! The host was absolutely amazing and the house was perfect for us! We could drive the boat up to the property and come and go as we pleased! The house was clean and the WiFi for bed time was great! We will definitely be back!

Overall the host was extremely attentive and provided prompt responses to all my questions from the moment I booked! Generally the house was fine and suited our needs. However, I chose this property based on many reviews that stated the property was very clean or had 5 stars for cleanliness. I was disappointed as that wasn’t my impression. We had to wash several dishes that were not clean (albeit, these weren't plates that typically go through the dishwasher, more like pots and pans, which would be very difficult to know unless you inspected every dish upon a guests departure... so I get its not the hosts fault, but still disappointing as it wasn't just one thing). The sponge in the kitchen was used, wet and smelled. In my experience with VRBOs there is usually a new, packaged sponge waiting, or very clearly it is brand new without packaging. No clean ones under the sink to replace with either. The dishwasher was full upon arrival (clean, at least), as was the washer AND dryer. Needed dishes from the dishwasher so we unloaded. When we went to use the washer and dryer on the night before we leaving, we had two loads of towels / sheets to fold. Nothing out of the norm for Moms, but not ideal for a vacation! As I said, Latisha was extremely responsive to questions we had or things we needed, these were just some things that were disappointing for a rental that I haven't encountered in other places!

The property was grear and Latisha was very responsive. A couple of issues caused by the weather but Latisha was great in adressing. Lovely neighborhood with very friendly residents. Will be back.

We had a great time fishing, my wife and son loved the house and playing by the lake. The beds were very comfy and clean, the house was clean and maintained.
