Waterfront home on Lake Whatcom with private dock, beach, firepit & woodstove

Great lakefront property! Beautiful views…Could use a dresser. We lived out of our suitcases, which was not ideal.

Great location and home!

On arrival, we received a text requesting we rate the cleanliness of the property. We gave it 3 (of 5) due to dark hairs in the shower and bathroom sink. Later, we noticed the area under the dining room table needed to be swept or damp mopped as there was dust and debris evident. The queen bed was too firm for our taste. Lots of dust under the bed. The shower head could use an upgrade. Otherwise, a delightfully quiet and serene location on a lovely lake. All appliances worked, windows opened, doors locked and heat pump worked flawlessly. If we return we'll bring an extra pad for the queen bed.

the pros: Quiet dead end street, no through traffic, two docks, flat and nice property to play on, lots of board games and movies, they provided firewood, really just the perfect beach house, it is south west facing so you get lots of afternoon and evening sun. The house is in the trees so it doesn’t get too hot. Wonderful deck for sitting on. the cons: There is a public access of the creek right next to the property so you will have a lot of strangers playing right next to you The main bedroom bed is the most uncomfortable bed I think I have ever slept on. For a nice vacation rental to have such a low quality small rock hard bed is sad and uncomfortable. They provide a fireplace and a fire pit with no way of starting the fire, so make sure to bring your own fire starters I always find it really annoying when you pay per night and they want you to do things like laundry and dishes and garbage when you leave, but then don’t provide you with enough garbage bags and dish soap. Just give us enough to function for the whole stay. I don’t want to have to bring trash bags to take out my own trash. by the same logic, I don’t wanna have to pay per night and then bring my own toilet paper. There are no spices or oil or anything. The kitchen is completely bare, so bring absolutely everything. still giving this property a five star because I think it was priced really well, and the property itself was as described and exactly that our needs. If they could upgrade those couple of things, it would really be a wonderful stay.

Amazing weekend here. Super close to some of the best fishing on lake Whatcom. 10/10 would rent again.

A beautiful location on Lake Whatcom. Lake view is awesome! The house was exactly as represented, and it met all our needs! We would definitely stay here again.

Loved all of it, the lake, the great big table, easy everything. Host communication was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend .

None of the outlets in the bedroom/bathroom worked but other than that it was great :)

What a fantastic lake cottage! Clean, well stocked (except for spices. Had to go out and buy S&P!) But to was just a lovely, clean and well-appointed cottage for a weekend at the lake. Wood stove was a plus. Access to some wonderful parks and the city was easy and fun!

Fantastic local. Quiet neighborhood. Gorgeous deck. Spacious kitchen and sitting area. Perfect place for friends to gather.

Very well kept house and grounds. Comfortable furniture, convenient kitchen and plenty of surfaces for putting one’s belongings.

This was our second visit and we plan to go back again next year! The house has everything you need, is clean and well stocked! The views… swimming, and relaxation! Amazing!?

Fantastic updated cabin on the lake with private Dock.

The property was wonderful. The house is great. Clean, comfortable bed and couch. But I HATE Vacasa. They will not leave you alone. Constantly sending texts or emails. They also added an additional day to my stay without my authorization and would not get back to me when I tried to cancel it. I hope the property owner thinks about using a different property manager. I will never rent from a Vacasa managed home again

Splendid retreat for a single family with young kids eager to play in the lake and sit by a campfire. (4 stars). For adults, the property is limited. One bathroom, one mirror and one 3x3 standup shower. The bedrooms and bath are well appointed, but small for adults. Not a good venue for 2 adult couples or adult family with adult kids, who are sharing tight accommodations (that was us). Remote at the end of Lake Whatcom, so bring everything. No coffee and No wine to welcome you. Lots of mosquitos. Overall very comfortable. A few upgrades, plus a second bathroom and screened porch would make this a fantastic place.

Being right next to the lake, with the docks, nice grassy private are, very cozy cabin,
