Home was well equipped
This home had everything we could have possibly wanted. Extremely well equipped kitchen, lots of outdoor activities for family fun. Indoor games for a rainy day kept the kids entertained. Perfect size home for our group, nice calm lake for paddleboarding, close to lots of interesting activities. Exceeded our expectations.
This is a really nice little house on the lake. We loved using the canoe and paddleboard.
We had a really nice stay. Very clean, comfy, well stocked and it had thoughtful additions like s’more makings and firewood. The only improvements would be warmer lighting in the overhead fixtures or more lamps. We couldn’t figure out the fireplace but didn’t reach out to the host. In the scheme of things, those are insignificant details.
This home is just as described! We travel a lot and use vrbo for most of it and I would definitely come back to this home. The kitchen is well stocked to cook, home is clean and everything is in working order. Also the views are amazing! If you’re an Interlochen parent or going to events there the location can’t be beat! Brett the host is very responsive and so nice! We will be back!
The owner was communicative. Our stay was great.
Plenty of family fun at this stay. Kids loved the paddle boards and canoeing. Lake is not super busy leaving a nice quiet relaxing time with the family. Owner was very attentive to our needs. Very clean and well kept.
This was the best place we stayed so far in our Michigan travels. Being on the water was beautiful. Even though we had a full day and it was rainy the house was cozy and close to other destinations. We would definitely come back.
We felt so at peace in this house. It was great for a group of three friends that wanted to escape city life and just be. Right in the lake, with the right amenities, personable touches throughout. Very grateful for the free fire wood, the canoe and the life vests. We really enjoyed our time is this great home.
The Elegant Loon was delightful! 5 stars across the board. Cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed at, accuracy of the listing is 100%. The location gave us easy access to Traverse City, wine tasting on the nearby Peninsulas, Frankfort, Leland, etc.. All while having a quiet place on the lake to relax at and enjoy a nice fire each evening (Smore makings were a very nice touch). The Michigania decorations are all top notch and the kitchen is very well equipped with Kitchen Aid utensils, Henckel knives and a wide variety of Michigan themed glassware. We'd definitely rent this house again if we are looking to spend some time Up North.
