    The location and the layout of the condo was great. We enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the beach. The multiple level home provides enough rooms for two or three families to spread out and have their own space. The bunk room was a plus for the kiddos! We did have trouble with appliances though which was unfortunate since we planned on cooking all of meals at the condo. The oven didn't light, the freezer didn't freeze, and the fridge wasn't cooling to them appropriate temperature. There are VERY basic starter supplies provided, so be sure to bring extra paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, and SEASONINGS.

    Our family had a great stay! Parking is very limited and more small suv/car friendly but you can easily park across the street. Beautiful house and very close distant to the beach.

    Property was clean and location was great. Really disappointed in there not being an easier in and out option with 3 kids. You get to park in the garage but there is no remote and they won’t give you the code to the keypad. So you have to walk around the building, unlock the front door and have someone open the garage door. There is no other parking besides inside the garage.

    The property was nice and in a good location for us. We could walk to the beach and it was good for the guys to meet their fishing guide. It was nice to have a 2 car garage. My only complaint is that only one burner would light on the gas stove. It needs some work.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice location with easy access to the beach. Canal behind homes was nice for easy fishing/crabbing access. I don't remember seeing anything warning us to bring our own propane bottle if we intended to cook outdoors on the grills. There are signs down there stating you have to bring your own propane. That's a bit of a hassle but i understand. Home is very typical for corporate owned properties. Repair standards were a bare minimum to maximize profits. Our stay was very affordable so I'm not mad, but the dryer did not work so we couldn't finish laundry, only one burner on the stove will stay on, the balcony door knob fell off during our stay, and the hallway carpets up stairs definitely need to be cleaned.

    Lots of room to spread out for our large group! Layout was perfect fit for us. Kitchen/living room area had plenty of room for us all to be together. Not too bad of a walk to the beach. Wagon was nice. Garage, small, but nice to have a place to unload. The check-in and out process was easy. wishes/suggestions/hiccups: 1. said 3 showers which was a huge plus with a group with 8 teenage girls....BUT the bottom floor shower never worked. called maintenance and he text me to do something and when we got back to the house I sent him a picture because it is obvious that a piece to make the shower work was missing. then he finally came out. said it would be few days before part came in. so we never got to use the 3rd shower. that was bummer since it was such a perk. 2. water hose to rinse off sand would've been nice...would help the house too. 3. at least 1 full length mirror somewhere...anywhere in the house is needed. again, I had a house of 18 year old girls and no mirror. 4. nothing can do about it but needs a note. water pressure is not good. with only 2 showers working, 8 girls with longhair and bad pressure...let's just say the shower process took a longtime...wet, wash, rinse and repeat....it was beating. I would've given all 5* but the shower was only issue really to make me select 4*.

    Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed in Padre Escapes homes and have generally had a great experience; however it seemed that no one had checked on this property in quite some time. From the faucet in the sink, to all of the showers not working, the dirty carpet upstairs, the closet door falling off the railing, etc this his house left much to be desired. When discussed with property management I kept hearing the same thing “I’m so sorry; this house is not up to our standards”. So why it is up for rental is beyond me.
