Read on for our detailed description of the property:
This Mediterranean-style townhome truly offers the best of the beach and the bay. The property is water front with absolutely stunning wide water views. Your backyard is the expansive Boca Ciega Bay and just a block away, in less than three minutes, you can walk to the beach with the beautiful white-sands that Redington Shores is famous for. With miles of sprawling beach and away from the large-chain hotels, you and your family will have plenty of room to enjoy the Gulf shore. When you are ready to change the pace, fish from private docks, enjoy water sports on the bay, or just sit back and enjoy the view. The bay is home to Florida's signature water birds and is frequently visited by dolphins. This particular combination of bay-front and beach access is unique to this location and cannot be found anywhere else in this area.
With more privacy than a condo complex, we welcome you to stay with us in comfort . We are continuously updating this town house. Our most recent updates include fresh paint, new curtains, and new high end washer and dryer.
On the third floor, the master bedroom is bay-facing with stunning views and its own private balcony. The master bath has a double vanity with granite countertops. There is a separate walk-in shower and a deep soaking-tub. Storage space is ample with a walk-in closet. Extra privacy is afforded by the landing which separates the master from the other two bedrooms. The washer and dryer are accessible from the landing for ideal convenience. The second bathroom is again finished with granite counter-tops and has a combination shower-bath. The second and third bedrooms face west with a partial ocean view.
The heart of the townhouse is the open layout of the second floor with beautiful bay views from the living room that opens onto the water-front balcony. The space is roomy for families and groups of friends. Guests stay connected with cable and Wifi available throughout the townhome. The formal dining space is complimented by a fully appointed kitchen where entertaining is made easy with a spacious functional layout, granite countertops, and dark hardwood cabinets. Next to the kitchen is a flexible space that can be used for breakfast or additional sleeping space for larger families or groups. There is a bathroom at the end of the kitchen with a shower-bath combination. Flooring is tile throughout the townhouse.
The ground floor features a bonus room and a 2-car garage. Sliding glass doors from the bonus room open up onto the back patio with a gas grill. Two docks are available for guest and resident use (motor boat docking is not permitted). The large bay is perfect for relaxing, fishing and water-sports.
There are several options for food and drinks within walking distance and some great fine dining within a short drive. John's Pass Village and Boardwalk is a short drive and has something for everyone with restaurants, entertainment, and beach-themed shops. One place that you don't want to miss is practically next door. Wahoo's may not look like much from the outside, but for an authentic fresh-off-the-boat grouper sandwich, this casual local bar is the place to go.
Thank you for your interest in this "best of the beach and the bay" townhouse. We know you will love it here because we love it too.
We absolutely loved this location. It is conveniently located in a quiet beach town. we are not fans of the hustle and bustle of overpacked beaches, this by far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and smelled great! We highly recommend booking here. We want to come back next year!
Our family, in GREAT need of a mental break, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Redington Shores. Though we are very much NOT used to stairs (bad ankles and knees in our bunch) we loved this house and the location. The kids, grandpa and dad all enjoyed the fishing on the bay and we all enjoyed how close the beach is and how much room is in the house. We hope to stay here again!
The property was as advertised. The location was perfect. The layout was well described and accurate. The property was large enough for all 5 of us to have space. Watching the dolphins and manatee from the balconies was a plus.
Very nice place, easy to access various points of interest. We did have a gnat problem that was annoying but wiping down kitchen area with Clorox wipes seemed to alleviate that somewhat. Would recommend to others. Grill worked great!
Extremely pleased with this condo, very clean and close to several restaurants. Spacious with an absolute gorgeous view!
We really liked the location: close to amenities, not too busy, easy to get around Tampa Bay area. Great view from the living room patio.
Lovely, well-maintained three-story townhouse with sweeping vistas of Boca Ciega bay. Pleasant bedrooms and deluxe en suite principal bedroom. Be prepared for lots of stairs, however! Nice kitchen and laundry facilities. Several decent restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely return.
Nice big place for the ten of us.
Nice Christmas holiday with the family. They even had a fireplace so we could “hang” our stocking from Santa. Good location and access to the beach and good restaurants.
Well-located with reasonable beach access (2 blocks). This is more of a bay property as it was right on the water. Decorated in 19th Century garage sale but very adequate. Appliances were very good, especially the ovens. Brand new gas grill on patio. Nice view from MBR, but uninspiring street views from others. Plenty of space. Could have used more towels. Good laundry facilities (BYOSoap). Fruit fly or gnat infestation when we arrived. Lots of beach toys & necessities that were helpful. No internet the entire trip and management wouldn't answer our calls, let alone help. Owners are rental business people - not owners who take pride in their unit, service or even if things worked. We had to leave voicemails or email for assistance. They own three units. Should have known for their refusal to contact us despite requests before the trip. They're very hands-off and inaccessible. It's very livable with good roominess and walking access to decent restaurants with a relaxing view off the back patio, deck and MBR, but we'll never stay here again due to the inhospitable management. Hope you have better luck because you're on your own...
The house was great. The only issues we had was the dog barking next door keeping the downstairs sleeper up. We had issues with the code getting into the house. It took about 45 minutes but we got it worked out and there was a box trailer parked in the no parking area which made it hard to get around. We loved the house and location and would definitely stay again! Highly recommend for a quiet family get away and supper close to St John’s Pass.
Didn't realize we had to cross 4 lanes of traffic. Traffic wasn't horrible so it wasn't difficult to cross. Easy walk to beach after crossing the highway. Wonderful view of bay and the ocean was beautiful. We would book the property again.
Overall this property is great. The location was awesome. The view of the Bay was wonderful and the Herons and Pelicans we saw where many. We saw dolphins once. The biggest caveat is for those who struggle with stairs. You will be climbing them. 3 flights of stairs to bedrooms from entryway. And this particular town house needs new living room furniture. Couch Chair and love seat are shot in my opinion. Beds are average in comfort. The property itself is nice. Very functional. And 3 bathrooms make things really handy. The fish place next door smelled a little fishy at certain times of the day but otherwise was quiet. We was not bothered by any reefers or refrigerated equipment. Lots of little things needed attention like faucet tightening and basic wear and tear stuff. But nothing to inconvenience us or deter us from revisiting. Automatic coded deadbolt took a little bit to get used to but was a nice asset to have. And the seafood restaurant next door basically The Seabreeze Island Grill was delicious!!
Over stay was good, we requested our Propane tank be replaced the second there and the house be sprayed because there were black Nats and tiny Ants all over the house especially in the Kitchen. No one address the issues so we couldn’t grill and we sprayed bug spray ourselves. But other than that it was beautiful and good!!! Thank you so much, God Bless everyone ???!!!
The property was great. Close to a lot of restaurants. Close to grocery store. Beach was right across the street. Wonderful and relaxing. Morning coffee with the sunrise looking at the bay. ? Nice to be able to eat at home. Full kitchen. Lots of stairs in the unit. If you have a difficult time with stairs, I would not recommend. (We did not have a problem.) Definitely planning on visiting again.
Great location! Beach was pristine and quiet. My favorite kind of beach. House had tons of space. We practiced yoga every morning on the grass on the bay. We were a party of 4 adults and 5 children and we had enough room. They need new cots. If you are going to need to use a cot or two they were very uncomfortable for my son. There were lots of beach toys and a canopy and wagon left by previous guests. They also had umbrellas left behind. All were really beneficial to our stay. We bought two chairs and a fishing pole and left them for the next visitors. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved being on the bay with the beautiful views of dolphins and birds, very peaceful. And then only a short walk to the beach. Had the best of both worlds.
This property was perfect for a break from reality ! Coffee overlooking the bay each morning included dolphin & manatee sightings. Dock was perfect for the fisherman in the family & the beach was a short stroll away. Easy to cook at home and/or eat out. We definitely enjoyed our stay !
