Wonderful stay at this lake house! The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room are equipped with all you need. The fireplace and fire pit were put to great use. Down the ladder we went into Lake Huron. Nearby Tawas City has good shopping, biking and hiking near the Lighthouse. The hosts were very responsive when contacted and it is clear that they take great care of and pride in their home.

Excellent location with great views. House was well kept and had plenty of room for our needs.

Beautiful home right on the lake

This is an awesome cottage. Very spacious with a large well stocked kitchen and good size bedrooms and bathrooms. The view from the front deck is beautiful.. Watching the sunrise over Lake Huron every morning was an excellent way to start the day. There was space enough on the front section of the property to set up a badminton game/ volley ball game. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely return to Sunrise!!!!!

Frank and Jennifer are wonderful owners. They made our stay very pleasant.. if we had any questions they were quick to respond and took care of any situation that arose. Their home is beautiful and it met our needs completely. Thank you Frank and Jennifer.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home on Lake Huron. The hosts were very responsive and made our visit feel like we were family. The sunrises were awesome and the lake was very active during our visit.

House was exactly as listed. Fantastic views. Nice yard for games and the deck and entrance to swim were perfect for entire family. Nice open concept for dining and living room to kitchen. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The large semi-opened concept kitchen that helped the cook feel a part of the action while keeping tabs on everyone. We were impressed with how fully stocked it was. There was even a big griddle for making morning pancakes!The TV above the fire place and big couch where our large family could sit and watch a movie.The fact that none of the bathrooms were inside bedrooms-This made it so easy for our big group to always find an open toilet or shower without constantly having to bug each other. The big dining room table-perfect for our big dinners and birthday celebrations. The nice, new washer and dryer-great for washing bathing suits and towels. The quiet, tree lined street which was so nice to ride bikes down. We rode all the way to Gateway Park using the bike trail right off of US23.The soft grass lawn for the kids to run around and play catch on. We even got some friendly visits from the neighbor’s adorable dogs!The back deck with the solo stove. It was so easy to get a fire going that we ended up having one every night. The platform by the water to relax, sun yourself or have a nice morning cup of coffee.The water, the water, the water! We thought the waves crashing against the platform seemed quite menacing at first but once in the water it was so relaxing we never wanted to get out. We were even able to fly kites from the water because it was so shallow, roughly knee to waste high almost 100 feet out with a nice sandy bottom.

The accommodations were fantastic. The owner was friendly and quick to answer questions. A perfect view of the lake and large yard to play games and hang out. Well-stocked kitchen with grill outside. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

We stayed here with our extended family—5 adults and 5 kids—and had a wonderful time! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view of the lake was beautiful and peaceful, and the drive into town was quick and easy. We really appreciated how well-stocked the home was with essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags—something you don’t always find! We’d definitely stay here again. Great location, the most well stocked VRBO property we have ever stayed at. Clean, spacious, loved the deck could have hung out there all day. Would definitely go back and stay again.

Our second time staying at the property. Impeccable is an understatement. From the check in process, communication, cleanliness of the property. Lake Huron House is officially our home away from home when we need a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The walk through the neighborhood is breath taking it self. We spent three wonderful nights here and were pleasantly surprised by the space and comfort of the cabin. It was The perfect space for our immediate family to stay and for others to visit us.

We had an amazing stay, the house has a great layout with a ton of space! Our two yr old loved being able to run around. Gorgeous sunrises and amazing dock. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your cottage this past week. It was delightful. We all had a great time in the water laying on the dock playing games in the yard visiting downtown. It was a great weekend.

Absolutely beautiful location and home. Not a great place for swimming, but there are beautiful decks to hang out on and lots of room for family

This is a wonderful place for a family to relax and enjoy each other. All amenities are at hand and the bay is so great for swimming. With the high temperatures and high humidy we spent the bulk of our week in the bay. Hope to return again next year for our fourth in a row.
