Stayed May 8, 2022I recently stayed at this Brewster home in May 2022. This is the third year in a row I have stayed in the spring. This year was the earliest, yet most expensive, and I booked early to try to enjoy the beach with our dogs. The weather had other plans, as it was very windy the entire stay, like sand whipping in your face, as soon as you walk on to beach windy! Thus, we spent more time inside the home. Nothing has really changed in the home in 3 years, besides things worsening. There were significantly fewer cups, accessories, plates, etc. Some pots/pans were in rough shape. The outdoor grill was broken and did not work properly which really messed up my dinner plans to grill steaks that I brought. They no longer place couch/seat covers and some of the furniture was stained (chair in living room). Some of the lamps in living area would not turn on. There were A LOT of ants in the kitchen area, and coming out of wall where kitchen meets living room. That was annoying. The biggest flaw was the outdoor furniture. There used to be seating areas outside, but most are gone, and never replaced, as I remember a love seat last year was in rough shape. The upstairs balcony had no furniture at all to sit and enjoy the view. On main deck there were a few mismatched chairs and one was broken. For how much I paid for 3 nights they can easily update the entire outside area. Otherwise it was Average. Communication was great before visit, after, seemed disinterested when mentioning issues.

Stayed Oct 11, 2025We were on the Cape for a soccer tournament over a long fall weekend. This house was perfectly located to the tournament, which was in various towns. More importantly, it was a truly a 2 min walk to the beach!!The house was exactly as pictured and the property manager(s) were very communicative and flexible. Our family liked the separate nature of the bedrooms on the first floor and second. I slept upstairs with my 12 y.o., the soccer player, and her teenage sisters could sleep downstairs and stay up later. And, this is one of the few places we found online that allowed my Lab.Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Stayed Aug 2, 2025This is a wonderful property in many ways. The location is incredible – it really is three minutes to the beach, if you walk slowly! It’s a lovely beach and when you aren’t there, you have a great view of the sunset! The outdoor space is fabulous – we ate every meal out on the deck, and spent a great deal of time hanging out there as well. The bonus stack on the upper level had an incredible view. The layout of the rooms was excellent for our four adults and three children. The kitchen is a little small and not very well equipped at all, but it was totally fine for a week. The only major complaint was that the downstairs “king“ bed was two very unpleasant twin mattresses pushed together, and the bathroom fixtures on the first floor all seem to be falling apart a little bit.On the whole, a super house that we were very glad to be in for a week!

Stayed Jun 11, 2025House is accurately described. Kitchen well stocked. Deck on the back of the house included Adirondack chairs and large table and chairs. We were able to bring our dog--a first for us on the Cape- and she spent most of the weekend on the deck watching the rabbits in the yard below. Comfortable home. The beach is 3 houses and a parking lot away. Much to recommend about this property.

Stayed Oct 13, 2024We had a lovely off season stay in Brewster. When we arrived, the house was chilly and we had a little trouble figuring out how to turn on the heat. I called the Del Mar office and someone called me back very quickly with instructions for the two heat pumps that managed the temperature in the house. Someone from the office also dropped by with two space heaters to supplement if we needed them. I also had trouble getting the downstairs TV to work, but the upstairs TV did have cable service. The location of the house was fantastic and we walked down to the beach at all times of day. The house was comfortable and clean and the neighborhood was quiet and attractive.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024We took our parents to the Cape for the first time in 5years (ages 77-79). House was great for our group of 5 adults because the parents could be on the main floor with their own shared bathroom, close to the living room and kitchen. My husband and I took the upstairs master with living space and private deck which was a perfect place to escape to when we needed some alone time! Overall the house had everything you needed including an outdoor shower, grill and AC. However, the whole place needs a refresh. The deck is covered in a thin layer of green mildew with mismatched and worn furniture, The furnishings/decor inside are from the 80’s and the kitchen/master bath although functional, could use a total upgrade. The main living space does not have AC but the bedrooms did and were cool. The screen door had no top screen so we had to keep door shut for bugs. The dishwasher was temperamental and a closet door fell off its track in one of the down stairs bedrooms. The yard was spacious and the location was perfect allowing us to walk to and from two quiet public beaches at our leisure. The neighborhood is beautiful with a nice flat development to walk through with our dog. Overall, it’s a good house with potential to be great with a little TLC.Sometimes it’s hard to swallow the weekly price tag to rent on the Cape but it’s always worth it in the end!

Stayed Jun 4, 2024My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this house in Brewster. Quick access to the beach and the town of Brewster. Very central to everywhere on Cape. House is nicely furnished and good set up for cooking. Beds were comfy and good blackout shades for early sun shine. Only issue is didn't have shampoo or conditioner but luckily my wife always packs. Lots of beach toys, chairs, coolers, etc. Very well set up to enjoy the beach or time at home. Would stay again.
