Stayed Aug 5, 2025Beautiful property, loved the hot tub and view of the water from both the hot tub and deck. King bed very comfortable, the double bed in the second bedroom not that comfortable and the bed was very close to the floor and hard for an adult to get out of. (That was the only disappointment).

Stayed Oct 21, 2024Stayed in late October 2024. Wonderful home away from home that has everything for a true relaxing retreat. It is secluded in the woods with a beautiful view of trees and the sound from up on the hillside. Very quiet and peaceful location. Just slight intermitent road noise from highway down over the hill that can only be heard from the deck. Bonus is the hot tub in the deck. We enjoyed sunset views from the hot tub every evening. The living areas are comfortable, Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. Drip coffee maker, but no coffee grinder. King bed is very comforrable.

Stayed Oct 16, 2024Spent a long weekend exploring Orcas Island during the day and relaxing in the evenings. Between the stores on the island and the well-stocked kitchen, we had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. The house itself was beautiful and full of light. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Jul 26, 2024We really enjoyed the location of this property- private, great view, easy access to Eastsound and the state park. Spending time out on the deck was a highlight. House was stocked with detergents, toiletries, etc. The house could use a little TLC though (bathtub doesn’t drain well, dust bunnies flying everywhere when the fan was turned on, etc.). The bunk bed is super rickety, probably meant for kids but we had adults on it. Overall a good stay for the price!

Stayed Jun 20, 2024Private lodging with a beautiful view, especially great for sunsets. We loved being able to cook at home and enjoy dinner on the deck. However, stove top skillets could use an update. We had an issue with there being no extra toilet paper stocked for 5 adults. But after notifying of our issue it was resolved in a few hours. There was also a slice of old pizza found in the oven when we went to preheat it and residue in the coffee pot. Otherwise the house was very clean, bedding was nice and comfortable. It was a great place for a family or close friends. We were close to town but felt removed from it for a nice weekend escape. The birdhouse off the deck was adorable to watch while we enjoyed coffee or drinks on the deck. We also saw a family of deer one morning. Overall, we loved our stay and the island.
