Bridgman, Michigan
The lodge backs up to a 2000 acre park called Warren Dunes that runs along Lake Michigan. The lodge is on the North end of the park with no parking lots on the lake so it is very private. The beach trail starts a few houses down at the end of Floral Lane. It is a beautiful hike to the beach over the dunes. The rooms in the lodge all open to a 66 foot long by 10 foot wide screened porch that houses the private hot tub and access to fenced yard and patio with fireplace pit. Also WBFPL in LR.

We loved staying here! Patti was a great host, very accommodating and good communication. The proximity to the state park is everything. We’re looking forward to coming back :)
This was a perfect location for us to drive to lots of wineries. We loved the hot tub! Patti was great with quick communication.
I loved our weekend getaway. It was a great location.
Partner and I stayed a few nights with our 2 dogs and had a great time visiting the Warren Dunes. Several trailheads are within walking distance. We found the dunes a bit challenging but the beautiful beach is so worth it! The blue jay lodge has a wonderful hot tub on an enormous screened in porch. The fully fenced yard was perfect for lounging by a fire with the dogs after a long day of hiking.
Property was very clean. Nice fenced yard for pets. Hot tub was well maintained. Trail to beach was treacherous for older folk. Worth the money to drive to park area. No check out instructions. Overall nice experience and would rebook.
Perfect location to hike to Warren Dunes. The hot tub is great! Wonderful family getaway!
very nice, not more than 10-15 minutes from family functions. saw sunsets twice. dogs did great, especially enjoyed the trails to lake michigan. little hiccup with family member needed to go to hospital....again great location hospital 10-15 minutes away.
The house was everything our small family of 3 plus a dog could need! We were very comfortable in our rooms and the usage of the kitchen was great. We spent much time out on the long, covered porch and in the hot tub! Only complaint is proximity to Red Arrow Highway and noisy cars. However, the noise wasn't terrible at night when we were mainly at the house and it's location did make it easy to get to the grocery store and downtown Bridgman. House could use a deep clean, I wasn't by any means uncomfortable, but the inside of the drawers were dusty and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the shower didn't feel clean enough to use, luckily I brought my own. All in all, we would definitely visit again. Thank you for your quick responses and flexibility as well, Patti!
This was everything we wanted. The doorknob was broken upon our arrival & a simple message to the property manager it was fixed! We would stay here again in the future if ever in the area! Great getaway for us. My daughter loved the hot tub & it was perfect for us to be able to enjoy on a cool evening.
The Good: the remodel of this trailer is visually effective with some nice vacation touches like a nice soaking tub, a hot tub, a private , fully fenced outdoor patio, BBQ & fire pit. Proximity and access to Warren Dunes is brilliant. The Bad: it is feet away from a busy highway and very near the interstate and a busy train line. It was not a peaceful getaway by any means. The Ugly: stale smoke from many years permeates the property. The noise and ofor sent us packing the next morning. We’d have gone upon arrival if we hadn’t already spent most of day in the car already.
Property was with in short walking distance to trails to Warren Dunes. Everything was clean. Hot tub was amazing.
The place was pretty nice, the hot tub was amazing. The screens on the porch were a little damaged so bugs got in but overall it was a great place
This lodge is beautiful and quaint. Equipped with everything you need to have a wonderful stay. This rental is located perfectly next to the Dunes, while not being too far from Silver Beach, among others. Perfect location with all the privacy feel.
Everything you need! No complaints at all.
The house is beautiful and just far enough away from tourisim to be private and emjoyable, beds were comfortable . They even left laundry and dish washer machine soap, coffee and seasons but bring pepper? they didnt have that or oil mor did i expect them to. The only thing i would do is maybe adjust the images with the dunes because it makes it seem or myself and my guests took it as it was a entrance to trail was off at property a 10 min walk right off the property when infact its the end of the road and then a trail etc which was litterally not explored due to location
My family had a great time staying at the property! It was very modern and updated inside with the charm of a screened in porch the length of the home and amazing fenced yard for our pup. Patti was very responsive and had lots of amenities. Weko Beach is a quick drive and I recommend arriving early since there isn’t much parking. We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our stay. Like most places, there were pros and cons. And the pros outweighed the cons for sure. The place was clean and was located basically right in Warren Dunes State Park. This made hiking a breeze without having to purchase a park passport. The hot tub was clean and very nice. The fenced in yard was great for our 4 legged traveling companion. As for the few cons, its located right next to the highway so there was a good amount of road noise, the internet wasn’t the fastest, the coffee machine didn’t work very well, and the ceilings were very low for my tall husband (maybe that is how high a trailer home ceiling typically is). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and Patti was a great host.
