This lovely, well-appointed, down-to-earth charmer is a rare find in the St. Mary's community. Located in a quiet walkable residential area yet only 4 minutes from the picturesque riverfront park and the ferry to Cumberland Island...absolutely perfect for a family. Our home features 3 bedrooms with the Master BR and bath on the opposite side of the house from the two other bedrooms and second bath, affording plenty of quiet for tired parents. A well lit walkway along the side of the home leads to a huge backyard surrounded by privacy fencing.*(Please see additional guest info in last paragraph) An umbrella covered picnic table with charcoal grill as well as a fire pit with large comfy Adirondack style chairs will make for a special family gathering.

St. Mary's Aquatic Center (in season) is minutes away and the beach is a 35-minute drive door to sand! Day trips to Fernandina Beach, Jekyll Island or St. Simons Island are all great destinations worthy of a spot on the calendar! Don't forget Cumberland Island! Kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles can be rented at Knuckleheads at our beautiful waterfront park and you will find golf cart rentals available at Budget Golf Carts...right on Osborne Rd. Bicycle rentals are also available at Camden Bicycle Center...also on Osborne Rd. So whether you choose spend the day in St. Marys or take a day trip outing...adventure certainly awaits!

This is a well-loved family home, available for short stays (minimum of two nights) or longer visits (Please reach out to us should you desire a stay greater than 28 nights). We feel this retreat is guaranteed to bring you bright and sunny peace and quiet, and enough joy to lift your spirits for the next round of reality. You will surely want to come back again and again.

*Our 60's vintage home was originally constructed with a carport having a side door which stepped into the kitchen area. A breezeway from the carport led into the backyard and was in essence the backdoor. During a complete remodel the carport was transformed into a spacious Master suite and the breezeway became an additional bath with washer and dryer. A winding 5 foot walkway along the side of the home now leads to ones entry to the backyard. With its close proximity to a wonderful riverfront park and downtown area (itself having undergone recent renovations and landscaping!) we were drawn to this home with its relaxed coastal feel within this quiet neighborhood.
