️ ✨ JUST 0.3 MILES FROM THE PINEY LAKE ROAD ENTRANCE — A DREAM BASECAMP FOR CAMPERS & ANGLERS!

Love to camp Love to fish You`re a stone`s throw from the gateway to Piney Lake, one of the most stunning alpine lakes in the Vail area — perfect for fly-fishing, paddling, hiking the Upper Piney River Trail, and breathtaking mountain photography. Drive your camper van straight up for a day on the lake, then come back to the house, park the rig, kick off the boots, sink into the hot tub, and let the chalet handle the rest. Whether you`re chasing trout at sunrise, hitting trails by mid-morning, or coming back dust-covered and happy — this is the home you want waiting for you.

MATTHEW`S HIDDEN GEM — LOST LAKE!

Just up the same road past Piney, you`ll find Lost Lake — Matthew`s personal favorite hidden gem in the area. Hike in, take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear alpine water, and post up on the beach with cocktails as the afternoon light hits the surrounding peaks. It`s the kind of secret-spot day most Vail visitors never even know exists. Pack a cooler, bring your swimsuit, and ask us for the inside scoop when you arrive!

This was our first time to Vail and I selected this home because of the amount of windows and light I saw in the photos. My daughter was getting married and I needed a place for us to stay as well as for the bridal party to get ready since the venue did not have anything available. This home did not disappoint! The space was perfect for everyone and the lighting from floor to ceiling windows was perfect. We loved the home, the outdoor space and hot tub! The home was well stocked with everything you needed plus it was very clean, comfortable beds, easy to check in/out, plenty of parking and quiet. They provided lots of fans so when it got a little warm, adding a fan provided plenty of relief. Washer/Dryer in the owner's suite as well as the lower level next to the other bedrooms. Great location, five minutes from anything you need. I highly recommend this home.

The house is in a great location, walkable to Lionshead Village in about 15 minutes. It was a quiet and peaceful stay with nice views of the fall leaf colors. It's a very nice house and I really appreciate that they allow dogs. The dogs had a great time too! :)

This is a beautiful duplex home, walking distance to the village. Please read the description as some of the photos of the bedrooms were misleading. There is only 1 master with a king, two very small queen rooms and a bunk room. One of the photos listed said there was a second king located on the bottom floor- there is not. You also do not have access to the garage as the photos may suggest. I recognize this is a dog friendly property, but the home was filled with dog hair. On the couches, beds, pillows- we ended up washing the sheets immediately. Housekeeping also showed up 30 minutes after our check in time to provide soap- in which they filled the containers with water. No hand soap in any bathrooms, shampoo and conditioner were so watered down you wouldn’t use it. While these may seem small, for the cost to rent this home, it should be cleaned and have decent toiletries. Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

The property was gorgeous. Plenty of room for sleeping and privacy. Located so we could either go out for meals or cook for ourselves. The fire pit and hot tub allowed for causal conversation and great “catching up” stories. Would love to come back for ski season
