Wanda's Wish / 423 Caswell Beach Road

We had a wonderful week at Wanda’s Wish. The house was not as clean as we would have hoped but everything else about the house made up for it.

Coastal vacation that manages this property is so bad. They raised the price after I booked and payed the full price on VRBO. Then they told us that if we wanted the house we had to pay the extra money or cancel and get our money back. This all happened 3 days before our trip so of course we paid because we wanted to go. Coasta vacations claims that VRBO had the wrong price. B-S. They also make you come and get a key, stoneage…

We really enjoyed Wanda’s Wish. It was clean and very welcoming. The beds were nice and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with. They also had lots of books, board games, and puzzles. It was just a perfect mix of things to do while on vacation.

I can’t think of anything I would change. Great beach location for beach walks or road walk. Walk to lighthouse. 2 miles to restaurants and grocery. Great bicycling. Everything a cook would enjoy in the kitchen. It’s nice to have 2 king size beds available as well as queens and bunks. I love how contents of cupboards are photographed and labeled.

We enjoyed staying at Wanda’s Wish! It was cozy and spacious with 5 total bedrooms. Our favorite parts were the ocean front access and the huge game closet! Thanks for a great family weekend ♥️

Very well appointed cottage. Well-equipped kitchen, books and games, info on local resources. Nice layout. Great beach location - quiet but near cool sites, stores, restaurants, shopping, rentals, etc. Super comfortable! Very pleased.

Two couples each with infants under 1. House was perfect, could easily spread out and the main floor was wide open. Kitchen was fully stocked and there were a ton of games. And house was really clean. We will definitely be coming back.

Rented this to take the grandkids on Christmas break. We all had a blast ringing in the new year.

Wanda’s wish was an awesome home to rent it suited our family with an extra bed or two to spare. Location to stores and restaurants were a short drive away. The ocean was a short walk out the backdoor. The house it self has tons of space even with the 5th bedroom downstairs that you have to go outside to get was nice. If you want to most possible privacy pick that room for sure. Our experience here was good, I would like to say great but the router was out of commission so we couldn’t watch tv or use wifi. With the exception of missing some football games we wanted to watch, it helped out because conversation and board games came out. So almost every night was a game night for us, that’s something that hasn’t happened in a long time. The young lady who tried helping us from the emergency line did her best to get results. But being Christmas weekend we knew seeing any service trucks were slim to none. My wife and I are already planning our next visit.

Nice quiet location in Caswell Beach. Secluded but close to restaurants in OKI and Southport. Water was not too cold, kids enjoyed swimming in late October!
