The house was perfect for our family of five who were hitting the slopes every day.

As my wife and I had never been to New Zealand before we wanted to base ourselves close to Queenstown but not in Queenstown to give ourselves flexibility. We booked Ron’s place as the listing looked like what we wanted in a nice location. Wow! The description didn’t do it justice. The house was beautifully kept and immaculate in cleanliness as well as being ideally situated in a quiet part of Wānaka, but still with easy access to anything everything. The view from the windows was awesome with the mountain and lakes and a short walk over the small grassy hill at the back of the house provided a 360 view of lakes and mountains including Mt Aspiring! What a place! I can highly recommend to anyone as you will not be disappointed. Ron kept in touch and was on hand to answer any queries very promptly. Phenomenal place, house and host. We long to be back again!

Ron’s home in Wanaka is beautiful! It was the perfect central location for us to explore Queenstown and Milford Sound. There were 8 of us, with more than enough room to spread out. Make sure you head outside to star gaze, catch the sunrise over the hill in the backyard, do a wine tour with Joe from WanaHaka and eat at Paloma! The only downside was we didn’t have a dryer. It was broken, and would have been nice to have. We were able to wash and use the drying racks.
