Walkable, Modern! Old Louisville Victorian w/ Yard

Pros: Location was very close to everything! Also we were 6 women traveling together and needed 6 separate beds. Cons: Cons: The pictures of this place look a lot better than it actually is. The house is a little tired looking and there are several walls (esp the third floor) that need painting and carpeting that needs to be cleaned. One set of sheets were stained looking. We also didn't have pillow cases on two of the beds. Never ended up using the kitchen.

The home is absolutely beautiful and is well appointed. Furthermore, the beds were super comfortable. The home is located just a few minutes from both Churchill Downs as well as Whiskey Row. The property contact was super easy to work with and quite accommodating. I highly recommend this property and would rent this property again if we vacation in the area again.

The house had everything that we needed. Clean, well stocked. Owner was excellent and quick to answer any questions. Hope to stay there again next year.

THE THREE STORY BRICK HOME WAS LOCATED MINUTES OFF THE HIGHWAY AND WITHIN 10-15 MINUTES OF MOST OF EVERTHING ELSE IN LOUISVILLE. THE HOME BEING ON A DEAD END STREET WAS ALSO A PLUS. THERE WAS NO STREET TRAFFIC. WE ENJOYED THE BACK YARD AND THE CHARCOAL GRILL. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE DOUBLE EDGED SWORD OF BEING SO CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT. GREAT FOR TRAVEL TO THE RESIDENCE BUT THE PLANES WERE LOUD AT TIMES. I WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING HERE TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

This house was very cute and was big enough for all of us with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. No issues at all. My only thing wish was different is the way to get in and out. It came with a code for a lockbox to get the key out and with only 1 key and 6 of us it made it hard. Wish had a keypad entry

Great layout w spread out rooms. Master Suite w huge dressing area and bathrm is nice to have for lots of people getting ready. Quiet neighborhood on dead end street. Owner was easy to contact and discuss questions with while we were there. Highly recommend for a large group.

Nice house. Good location. Very easy process for check in and check out.

Creaky old 3-story house missing some basic essentials (needed waste baskets in bathrooms, small tables to hold toiletries bags, more silverware) but right in the historic district, walking distance to fabulous old mansions and uniquely situated homes and parks. Easy drive to grocery shopping and activities. Enjoyed a long weekend there with my siblings.

The location was about 2-3 miles from downtown Louisville. Easy to get around and Ubers were pretty easy to get any time of day. Lots of bedrooms with large beds this place is great for large groups. There is two dollar stars across the street so it was easy to get groceries and within walking distance to Buck a nicer restaurant that had good food and a piano player for a reasonable price. No microwave on the property if you wanted to microwave anything you aren't going to. Overall it served the purpose and it was a good value.

I recommend having a car if you stay here. Highlight of the house was sitting around the fire in the backyard (you will need to go buy firewood). Once you park downtown you can walk to quite a lot.

Great location for downtown, restaurants, and Churchill Downs. We had a couple of problems - dead animal odor in the backyard which we covered up with air freshener and citronella candles, no shower curtain in tub bath (so couldn’t shower, only bath), broken dishwasher, and towels were clean but we finished drying them and hung them in bathrooms for our use. Very good nice place! We had plenty of room and it had the authentic antique Louisville feel.
