Great property! The host was communicative and friendly, with a quick response when needed. The building had plenty of space and was exactly as advertised. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!

We had a fantastic experience staying at this beautiful historic home in downtown Louisville. The house itself is impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and full of character—exactly what you'd hope for in a historic property. It was also incredibly comfortable and spacious, easily accommodating our team of seven, with everyone enjoying their own separate space to relax and recharge. The host was outstanding—extremely responsive and kind throughout our stay. We had a small hiccup with parking (which was due to an external factor and not the host’s fault), but it was addressed quickly and professionally. We truly appreciated the level of care and communication. The location couldn’t be better—close to all that downtown Louisville has to offer, while the house still provided a quiet and peaceful retreat at the end of each day. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in the city!

We had a group of 12 of us stay and everyone couldn’t stop commenting at how large and convenient the space was. Very close to all of the major attractions and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with 10 for a work trip. The location is right in the heart of downtown, which is great; however, that also comes with a significant number of homeless individuals very close to the property (including sleeping on our front step). The manager was very responsive and tried his best to help. Just know that you will be interacting with squatters right outside your door.

The house is huge and in a good location. It took a little bit to get our bearings because it’s a unique layout but it has plenty of space and if you are in the bedrooms you can’t hear if other people are awake or making noise which is nice for larger groups. The location is walking distance from most of what we wanted to do. There are a lot of people walking around and sleeping outside the front door but it was never threatening or anything like that. The owners were very responsive and helpful and overall the place was awesome.

The property was amazing for our stay and we all enjoyed our individual suites. The location is ideal for what we did and whole the neighbors might look rough they are very nice and friendly. If I come back to Louisville I'll look this place up again.

The Howard Hardy house was outstanding! The pictures do not do it justice - it was much more spacious and comfortable in person. We celebrated a 21st birthday and a 61st birthday on the trail. The house was perfect for the 4 married couples and the 4 single young men. Plenty of room for all to congregate together, but also everyone had their own space when desired. All the distilleries and restaurants we wanted to go to were walkable from the house so no one had to drive. Location was great, but all downtown Louisville was rough. No problems walking around in the morning, but late afternoon and into the evening would have been scary alone or with just a few. We were fine because of all the young strong men in our group. Once we were back in the house for the night we felt secure with all the different locking mechanisms provided. Everyone slept great with the noise machines and very comfortable beds. The heating and air units were top notch - sometimes in a historic building this is not the case, but after experiencing how well they controlled the climate indoors I may purchase one for my own home. This truly is the coolest house in Louisville with so much character but all the modern conveniences. I hope the city addresses some of its issues soon, but in the meantime, the homeowner has done much to insure a pleasant stay in what would otherwise be a 5-star location and neighborhood. Would absolutely book this again.

House is central to everything you need by foot or scooter. Perfect set up inside for small or large groups. Make sure front door is locked at all times, as neighbors from the homeless shelter congregate on the front steps of the house.
