My best friends and I stayed at the house and we made Christmas Cookies together. The house was the perfect place for us to bake, hang out and enjoy our time together. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The beds were comfortable too. All around it is a beautiful home with beautiful furnishings and the sweet story of the family connection to the house. We will be back next year!

We needed a place for the night. This place fit the billed. Located in an easy to find historic neighborhood, the place was spacious for its size and has everything we needed. The property is located at a corner and I thought there would be some street noise at night, but that was never an issue. Modern appliances, spacious dining area comfortable front room with a TV. I was able to interact with the host easily and in a timely fashion. The VRBO app was glitching so I had to do it via text and it was booth. If you want a place to stay in Georgetown or just want to stay north of Austin away from the chaos, Inhighky recommend this property.

The house was super cute with tons of historical character still intact. Convenient to all of our outings in downtown. The area is on the up, but a little rough. The house had comfortable beds but the TV room could use more cozy furniture to wind down in at the end of a busy day.

We’ve stayed here twice and really enjoy the quiet surroundings, comfortable beds and lovely walks to the town square. The children enjoyed the tree swings, playing games at the dining table and reading in the living room.Unexpected bonus: We had a perfect view of the 4th of July fireworks in the park from the front porch swing.James is a great host and promptly answers texts. We plan to return!

My husband and I stayed here for Red Poppy Festival 2025 with our 3 kids (ages 8,7,&2) plus my parents. We all slept comfortably in the 3 bedrooms. There was plenty of room for our toddler’s pack and play as well. The kids loved the yard space and especially the swings. The location was very convenient for walking to the square and a couple playgrounds for the kids. It is a well-maintained property cared for with love. The kids even asked when we’ll get to stay there again!

My family and I appreciated the history of the home and the charming architectural details. Our beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the washer and dryer were easily accessible and there was plenty of seating for dining and playing games around one of two tables. We just happened to stay when the red poppies were in full bloom around the property and throughout the town. The neighborhood is quiet and an easy walk to the downtown shops and restaurants.James is an excellent host and answers questions promptly. This was our second stay at this property. The proximity between Southwestern University and downtown Georgetown make it an excellent choice for anyone who would want to be walking distance to either location. You’re also walking distance or a bike ride to San Gabriel Park and all the amenities of the hike and bike trails there. The house is a perfect size for a family and it has all of the amenities to feel like home.

A charming 100 year old classic Texas small town home. The refreshed interior was very comfortable and the fully equipped kitchen made it possible for me whip up a big lasagne to feed my whole family. We will definitely consider 7th and Pine when we are back in Georgetown.
